    He shouldn't fight Liam Smith if he beats Garcia. A little too early. Eggington however is a good fight for Cheeseman which you'd expect him to win and it's a nice easy warm up for lower world level. Eggington then the winner of Fowler/Fitzgerald. Then Liam Smith or a foreign equivalent. Then a world title shot. That's how it should be. I wouldn't mind him shutting Jermell's mouth up on the way there too.

    Jermell would slaughter him

    Smith said in a recent interview he would be interested in a European fight if his other options fall through.

    Cheeseman reminds me a lot of Liam Williams, I think he would be very competitive with Smith. Wouldn't be shocked if he pulled the upset (but it would be an upset)

    Smith is still at a good level, that fight would be too soon for Ted - he’s too experienced.
