Well maybe all these fighters should face other people for 50 million and freeze Joshua out. Although I just seen wilder get less than 10 from headlining his own ppv in what some people were telling me was the biggest fight in the sport. So **** knows how they can justify 50 50

They've been beaten into a bloody pulp on twitter so have converged here of late it would seem.

The good old days of a thousand-strong MR troll army on twitter attacking anyone mentioned in the same sentence as Joshua have long gone thank god.

 

Most promoters are full of sit most of the time like but why they hang on to everything Hearn says is beyond me. Barry Hearn said they didn't want to fight WIlder until 2020. He also confirmed the 50M offer was real. Now they're in talks with Miller in June despite the fact WIlder had to sign some blank ****ing cheque on a time limit because it HAD to be April 13th? So bored of it. It's not even an attack on AJ either, I don't think he is against fighting either of them but he's a money man just like the rest, so this 'stay humble, I live with my mum' shite needs to do one. It's nauseating.

Whyte, Fury, Wilder. They are all petrified as they know Joshua will be their last fight and are in desperate need of a cashout paycheck. Its embarassing. Back in the day a contender would jump at any chance to take the unified champions title, Spinks on Holmes, Douglas on Tyson, Rahman on Lewis. The smell of fear on these 3 is so bad, they have already lost to Joshua before even putting pen to paper. At least Miller's got balls.

 

Not forgetting Joshua himself paid Charles Martin a King's ransom to fight for his title, while he was paid peanuts. He recognised the value of the opportunity and look where he is now...

 

I agree with you there, most promoters are like politicians and usually are full of ****. But nobody has denied Hearn has made these offers, they’ve just said that they’re not good enough. But as I mentioned, how’s the fight gonna get over the line when fury wants 50/50 and wilder isn’t interested? It’s unreasonable.

 

As well as a ever growing weekly buffet bill.

 

So far as I can tell neither side has suggested 55-45 and that just seems really...logical.

 

I realise he’s not a particularly popular man on here, but I think Eddie Hearn is correct when he says you have to place some value in fighting for the chance to take the belts. With that in mind, 60/40 seems a fair and reasonable offer to me. If the likes of Wilder, Miller, Fury and Whyte are truly sure in their abilities then they will walk in, beat Joshua, become a multi belt WC, and become the A - Side, thus rightfully commanding the A - Side money in future fights. I just think that 2 of those guys know they’ll likely lose, Wilder it appears knows this, Whyte is looking for a big payout in what could be his last world title shot for some time, whilst Fury on the other hand is very sensibly looking to take Wilders belt before a unification with AJ. I feel Miller’s the other man alongside Fury who genuinely thinks he can win - whether he can or not remains to be seen.

 

That’s your opinion. 60/40 seems a great offer for fury and wilder.

 

The power balance of negotiation does not favour AJ/Matchroom as much as people seem to think. Yes, he's the A-side against anyone. Yes, his fights generate more than anyone else's. Problem for Hearn lies in the fact AJ is running out of creditable opponents and Hearn seems to have clashed with all three (Wilder, Fury and Whyte) to varying degrees, and that does not help.

A lot of the casual support who fund the AJ gravy train will start to jump off, unless he shares the ring with either Fury or Wilder. Both of them know this and are playing a waiting game. The rematch with Whyte should be enough to keep AJ's fan base happy enough, and a US fight with Miller will keep things fresh, solely because it will be his American debut.

But after that he really needs one of the other two big names (or potentially Uysk), and to some extent they can use this need to match against top contenders as a bargaining chip. Wilder is playing the long game, to get the best deal from a fight he would be favoured to lose. Fury looks like he's playing the long game too.

 

You can also say the same about wilder and fury, where else will they earn big money after they fight each other? There’s nobody out there for Whyte to earn more than a million unless fury or wilder fight him. He’d lose to either and get paid less than the AJ fight.
