I wouldn't after seeing what Lewis on his worst day done to him. Joshua is too accurate , puts his punches together too well and has an inside game whereas Vitali has none.
Vitali's style is best suited to smaller guys with shorter reaches. SHWs with longer reach can easily get through his wide open , non-existent defense.

The only big guys Vitali ever fought were Hoffman and Lewis. As bad as Breazzele is , id even take him to beat Timmo Hoffman who was useless.

Vitali and AJ have a common opponent - Johnson. He made Vitali look stiff and clumsy. He was blown out in the first round against AJ.

The fight would look like a HW version of Sturm vs Benn. Thats giving Vitali credit since he wasn't nearly as technically sound as Sturm.

Pulev is terrified of Joshua because he knows he is all wrong for him. Vitali is a fighter of the same mould as Pulev

Let's put things in perspective. AJ went live and death with ancient Wlad. Don't see how he can be a favourite against prime Vitaly.

Vitali never fought Wlad ancient or not so i'm not sure what that's supposed to tell us. The only comparable comp to Wlad Vitali fought was ancient Lennox and we know how that went.

Saying that i'd favour a prime Vitali over Joshua, just not conclusively.

How's 37 year old Lewis comparable to 41 year old Klitschko, who was inactive for s year and a half?
Both Vitaly and Lewis in their 30s would demolish that version of Wlad in 1 or 2 rounds.

That’s true about power but I don’t think that Lewis had the same kind of mustard on his punches as he did in his prime.

Regarding achievements, Joshua’s top wins are much better than Vitalis who never had an A level win. He also still has is 0, If he retired now he’d already be ahead of him.

41 year old Wlad was in far better shape than fat, unmotivated Lewis who had also been out for over a year. Wlad was a man possessed in the build up to the Joshua fight, never seems a more motivated fighter, ‘obsessed’ in his own words, he gave it everything. Wlad looked closer to the fighter he was in his prime than Lewis did.

So AJ has a victory over a prime Wlad now?
Wlad was already looking past it during Pianeta fight, and way past vs Pulev.
The Wlad who fought AJ had no stamina, no reflexes and lost his jab and telegraphed his left hook.
Lewis would KO him in 1 at age 37.
Vitaly would play with him like s cat with s mouse.

Yup. Lewis ran away from a promised and ordered rematch after watching Vits destroy Kirk Johnson.

He was 38 years old and had already beat a prime Vitali, the idea that he should stay around until he finally loses to much younger fighters is ludicrous. He had nothing left to prove.

Look, i said i'd favour prime Vitali over prime Joshua but this isn't actually based on anything in Vitali's case. He never beat a boxer close to 41 year old Wlad at all nevermind by first round KO. Wlad obviously wasn't prime that's a laughable claim, but he looked great for his age and i believe he would've beat most HW's at the time outside of Fury and Joshua.
