Will this weekend be the last time we see Kovalev in a ring or do u think he has refocused & it will be a different result?

I can't see him carrying on if he loses, if it's close or controversial maybe but if it's a decisive loss again then it's probably game over. .

    What do u think?

Sounds about right with my thinking. I happen to think Alvarez doubles up on his performance and repeats. Excited for the rematch and glad it happened straight away.

    Oh, and TB12 for life.

Has Kovalev got his head fixed right? His is more a mental decline more than anything else.

I actually expect he'll beat Alvarez in the rematch. He was clearly winning up to getting caught in the first fight, so I expect him to do better in the rematch.
Then he has to go for a payday as soon as possible imo, because the new batch will probably beat him though.

Regarding the fight itself, I think Kovalev has a really good chance to stop Alvarez in the first part of it. If not, Alvarez will most probably knock him out again.
One way or the other, Kovalev better flee from the US to Russia after the fight, lol... :scared1

I fear that Kovalev is off the rails and thus will probably lose. But regardless of his mental state he still has some chance of getting Alvarez out early

Forgot this fight was so near, can't wait. Tremendous fight on paper, depends whether Kovalev has really given it all in his training camp. He has what it takes to win.

Mentally he is done... After that ugly battle with Ward he is not the same.

I'm one of the few that thinks Kovalev wins the rematch. He was controlling the fight prior to being hurt, I think he will be a bit more disciplined and get a stoppage around 8-10

Love me some Goff, Gurley, and those Ram jerseys so it wouldn't be the saddest thing ever (anything after SB51 is just icing on the already icing loaded cake). But yes, Patriots by more than their usual 3 points.

Curious how the Kovalev fanboys will frame this one. A legion of posters likes to point out the same old crimes of certain boxers yet this one seems pretty darn hardcore. Kovalev passing out in a shrub then crawling out the bushes the next morning after trying to drunk-**** a woman? Very frat-boy of him. Sounds kinda like Kavanaugh except more of a *****.

He wasn’t caught, he was broken down and stopped, by the time of the KO he already looked a beaten man. He was having to work too hard to win rounds while Alvarez cruised. Unless he’s worked a miracle on his stamina, we’re gonna see the same result again.
