Redemption or retirement for Kovalev?

What a POS Kovalev is.. Racist and a woman beater.

 

I agree, he has a really good rhythm once he gets going by his gas tank does empty in the second half.

 

Those allegations against him are really disturbing. If that story is even remotely true, I don't see how anybody could possibly root for him. There are a lot of Kovalev fans on this board, and I'd like to hear from some of these posters as to whether they still support Kovalev given these horrific allegations.

i supported Tyson after the allegations of ****. i support all fighters in the ring . Hell i even supported Manny Pac after he talked bad about gay people . I support them as fighters simple as that. What they do in their personal life that is their business not mine i do not know all the details. it is their life their choice i still support them and wish them nothing but the very best as one human being to another.

Usual suspects jumping on Kovalev before he's had his day in court. But what really annoys me is that nobody is holding Jamie accountable for her terrible behaviour towards Krusher. What kind of woman invites a guy into her home after a party, then makes him sleep outside in a bush? Didn't even throw him an old blanket by the sounds of it.

 

Ellerbe still supported Stevenson despite his torturing and raping of underage girls. So im sure i could get a pass for supporting KRUSHER.

Stevenson was a misguided kid FFS and he never raped anyone. If Stevenson was accused of what Kovalev did as a multi-millionaire in their 30's, I would absolutely detest him. How come the EE fanbase deflects right away when one of their fighters ****s up. You guys remind me of Trump supporters when Trump ****s up, "Hillary doe, Obama doe".

 

I wouldn’t judge kovalev until the trial is done but as for boxing, his mentality is gonna be messed from all this. I’d be surprised if kovalev was able to come through the rematch.

You sound conflicted. we are fully capable of judging matters outside the ring as well as those that take place inside the ring. What happens outside the ring speaks to a man's character.
