Whyte refuses £5 million to fight AJ

Refusing the amount offered is another way of refusing the fight. Whyte has already been knocked spark out by AJ and for all the noise he makes does not fancy it.

Starting to think this is the case myself. That he's sitting it out until he gets a shot at Wilder or Fury because he believes he'll fare better there. Fact is when Joshua knocks him out again his stock will plummet.

If he honestly does believe he deserves more than 7 Million when he's already been knocked out by him and he's not a mandatory then he's delusional. Oh well, would prefer Miller anyway.

Based on Whyte refusing 5 million, I'd say the Miller fight in MSG NYC is becoming increasingly likely which is a shame as Whyte is as deserving of a title shot as anyone right now. Personally I would rather AJ debut in the States against Miller next, as it would be another American gobshite put to the sword in his own backyard and might create just enough of a clammer for Wilder to finally grow a pair, find his pen and sign on the dotted line.

Mind you though, this all depends on Wilder rematchimg and defeating Fury which is far from being a certainty

It's the world heavy weight title yet you won't take 5 mil or 40% etc to claim the belts ? They have zero confidence in their ability to beat AJ or they would be jumping at the chance...give it to miller at least he looks like he has some self belief and wants the fight.

Whyte is all talk. Talks a good game but when push comes to shove he doesn't believe he can beat AJ.

 

5m is a joke offer. Okay Whyte is not quite marquee yet but he should be on more than that. He is not Takam or Breazeale.

 

Estimated 30 mill generated revenue from the rematch... Whyte deserves a bigger slice than 5/30 for him and his team
