    Nietes just seems to lack the workrate to dominate fights nowadays

    First of all what a great fight this was. A proper war. Thanks for the suggestion @CST80 as it was difficult to score honestly. Both showed great chin and heart throughout especially krael who took a lot of punishment. Both showed high workratea it’s borrego seemed to always throw that bit more and have the better success in the exchanges between them. Both showed a decent defense throughout to make the other miss but didn’t care if they got caught with big punches. Both didn’t seem to hirt the other or have that power to have the other in trouble. Borrego dislaed constant pressure and very effective aggression when walking krael down. Borrego also landed some very nice body shots throughout whereas krael landed his own but preferred to wait for the opportunity to throw a eye catching headshot. Borrego landed some very nice combinations throughout as well as some eye catching shots like the hooks throughout the fight. Krael has a very nice jab which wasn’t always landing and showed patience to wait for the right chance to throw his shots whereas borrego just threw as much as he could. Overall borrego was the aggressor, displayed nice pressure and effective aggression, landed the better bodywork throughout, displayed great workrate, landed his own nice combinations throughout especially with the hooks and used his footwork to walk krael down, boxed well on inside and position himself well to throw his punches. Krael had a good jab constantly landing throughout, landed the more eye catching single shots such as the uppercut and straight right and landed some great combos as well, krael boxed patiently and smartly when he had to which made borrego miss quite abit as well, boxed well on the outside and inside, showed a good workrate, showed his confidence by doing a little showboating and taunting which showed he was relaxed and showed good shot selection. Felt like borrego was able to edge out more of the closer rounds Due to his effectiveness aggression and higher workrate as both had similar shot accuracy. Have no problem with a draw in this one as some rounds we’re close but borrego did enough in my opinion to win this one. What scores did everyone else have in this one?
    Couldn’t find the Estrada vs orucuta fight anywhere as well @CST80

    It was a decent fight to watch and one I’ve been wanting to watch. Lara started the fight off nice using his footwork to stay off the ropes and make it hard for canelo to get him pinned down and land his shots and Lara was able to land the jab and straight left a lot in the early rounds. From the middle rounds onwards canelos bodyshots started getting trough regularly and started slowing Lara down which allowed canelo to pin him on the ropes and unleash the bodyshots. This meant Lara couldn’t box as well on the backfoot and slowed his shot output allowing canelo to win the rounds. By the when of the fight the rounds became close as Lara and canelo used all the energy they had left which meant it was Lara’s head work vs canelos bodywork. Overall canelo displayed some great bodywork, landed the harder shots, kept on pressuring throughout, good head movement and never got frustrated which wasn’t important against Lara. Lara boxed well on the outside, displayed nice footwork, nice jab and straight left and fast handspeed especially the combos. But canelo should have thrown the jab more and cut off the ring better rather than following Lara and Lara could have boxed more but I suppose it worked for him. Overall it was a close fight and I have no problem with either winning but it wasn’t a robbery by any stretch for canelo. What scores did everyone else have? What other fights should I score? @CST80 very interested to know your score on this

    Nice fight to watch it was and both displayed good heart and chins throughout. Lara was the more accurate punches in the first half of the fight which meant that he was able to overcome guess pressure and workrate but as the fight wore on hurds stamina proves the difference as he was able To outwork and grind Lara down which led to him winning more of the later rounds but lara still was the more accurate and technical fighter as he was able to still keep landing the straight left, left uppercuts and right hooks which allowed him to edge some rounds near the end and in the 12th Hurd was finally able to overwhelm Lara and score a kd but wasn’t able to get the finish. Overall I felt that Hurd was the stronger fighter, displayed great pressure and workrate throughout, threw some nice uppercuts, landed some nice bodyshots like the left hooks, cut of the ring well and stayed composed throughout not letting himself stray of the gameplan but didn’t have the technical skills of Lara which affected him. Whereas Lara was the better boxer, displayed great accuracy and speed, threw the better headshots and single shots, boxed well on the outside, used his footwork well to keep himself constantly of the ropes for most of the 1st half of the fight, picked his punches well rather than throwing shots he knew wouldn’t land and just displayed the better all round technical boxing ability. Hurds size, stamina/workrate and physically were a big reason why this fight was very competitive as lara was the better boxer technically. Could see a close hurd as some rounds were very close but I felt that Lara’s accuracy was the key in this fight to him winning on my card. What scores did everyone else have? Need some more fight suggestions so if you have any let me know

    Not a bad fight to watch in all honestly. A good competitive fight to score. Felt like trout was able to outwork a pre prime Canelo very well in a lot of the rounds as canelo just seemed to he think tired after throwing a few combos. Allowed trout or control rounds and make canelo rush shots rather than being patient. Canelo neglected the body which wasn’t good as it allowed trout to focus his defense on purely staying out of canelos range which worked for the majority of the fight except when he got caught with a hard right and dropped but besides that canelo had a hard time landing consistent shots and gaining much momentum. Trout utilised the ring and footwork in keeping off the ropes and making it hard for canelo to pinpoint him and frustrating canelo which worked as canelo did try throwing some wild punches which missed. Canelo deffo had some stamina issues when he was younger and this affected him and cost hombre the fight as it allowed trout to fight a high workrate and win the rounds as a result. Overall canelo landed the harder single shots and some Nice combos, threw a nice jab at times, right straight and right uppercut, had nice accuracy, displayed nice head movement and defense throughout, bobbing and weaving a lot of trouts shots when on the rope but not all and did box decent of the inside but lacked patience, ring iq, didn’t work the body at all, didn’t utilise the jab enough, coast through too many rounds and gifted them to trout, didn’t cut the ring off well whereas trout was slick, utilised his jab well constantly throwing it, had a sharp left hand, used his footwork very well throughout and displayed goodness ring iq so knowing when to engage and in general managing the ring, worked the body abit More than canelo Landing the jab and straight throughout, managed his gas tank better not gassing too much and just being more composed throughout. Both showed heart throughout taking the other shots well but trout maybe struggled with Canelos more. Trout won a Close but competitive fight and beat canelo the most decisively imo. What scores didn’t everyone else have?

    Thanks man, some close fights they were. Starting to struggle to think of close fights to score man ;) need some more faces to appear on here haha. One thing tho imagine trout with world level power, he would honestly be p4p top 10 with the wins he could have. Canelo, both Charlos and other top fighters

    GO on a De La Hoya rampage, score his matches against Trinindad, Quartey, Whittaker, Mosleyx2 and Sturm. You won't be disappointed.:deal:

    Do Toney/Jirov and his matches against McCallum as well.

    Trout is a beast, which is always why I've been tempted to pick him, and do frequently. Personally I think had he not been coming off of a 17 month layoff against Hurd, he'd have beaten him decisively too, and probably got robbed.:lol:

    This was a great boxing’s fight to watch and to see 2 different styles try and gel. Felt like de la Hoya started the fight of well and displayed beautiful boxing utilising the ring, his footwork, using the jab brilliantly, boxing well on the outside and displaying high levels of ring in whereas Trinidad couldn’t Land much on de la Hoya and struggled to cut the ring off or pressure de la hoya onto the ropes. As the fight went on Trinidad started landing more accurately and was able to take advantage of de la Hoya starting to slow down to win some of the Close rounds in the 2nd half of the fight. Overall de la Hoya utilised the jab well, used his footwork to stop Trinidad from setting his feet, landed some Nice right hands, boxed well on the outside, fought patiently, showed great accuracy throughout and didn’t throw anybody unnecessary punches. Whereas Trinidad started of poorly but as the fight went on Trinidad started cutting the ring off better, landed the harder single shots but couldn’t land many combos, kept the workrate up throughout and showed his ability to adapt later in the fight. Close fight but felt like either could have won a Close decision but I would have probably have had a de la Hoya decision. What scores did everyone else have?

    @JordanK2406

    Kreal-Barrego 95-95.

    Hurd-Lara 114-113. Hurd got to Lara's body early and was effective enough to grab a couple of early rounds on my card. From round 8 on, he surged and took 8-10 and then pounded Lara all over the ring in the 12th, scoring a KD to seal the deal.

    Trout-Canelo 114-113. I don't actually feel this was a robbery...but rather this was a case of Canelo taking his foot of the gas once he realized all he needed was a single round to win the fight after hearing the open scoring in the 8th. I think he would have been a bit more active over the closing quarter had that been required of him on the official cards.

    What a fun fight this was to watch. Felt like it was very Close to start of with with both trying to figure the other out but de la Hoya edging the earlier rounds but from the middle rounds onwards quartey took control with the jab which allowed him to dictate to his as well as def la Hoya not being able to land much and in the 6th both were knocked down but quartey seemed to take that round and gain momentum to take to the later rounds where de land Hoya stepped on the gas and upped his workrate to make the rounds close again and then de la Hoya score a big kd and almost got quartey out of there’s but he survived and recovered well to make it to the end. Overall quartey displayed a great and effectiveness jab, nice speed and accuracy, never lost patience and showed high ring iq throughout, managed the range well, showed heart throughout, showed some decent defense as well and countered de la Hoya well throughout especially when de la Hoya came inside. Whereas de la Hoya also used his jab at times, showed nice defense and managing of range especially early, utilised the left hook beautiful to land it when’s quartey did throw punches on the inside, did display high levels of ring iq in how he fought, landed some nice shots to the body but seemed to let of the gas in the middle rounds which cost him as quartey used his jab and great technical boxing to outclass de la Hoya at times. Good competitive fight and could see a close de la Hoya win but a close one as quartey in My opinion did enough to win this. What scores did everyone else have

    Another fun de la Hoya fight. Thanks for these suggestions to watch @CST80. This was a fight in which de la hoya seemed to control quite a lot of this fight, Whittaker seemed to Wait too much which allowed de la Hoya to control the start of the fight as he landed the better and harder punches as the fight dragged on Whittaker was able to take a few rounds with his nice combos and ability to make de la Hoya miss but again his workrate was what cost him some rounds throughout as de la Hoya was able to throw more and his accuracy was very high and de la Hoya was able to Outland Whittaker and take more of the rounds throughout. De la Hoya did get kicked down once but he wasn’t hurt just more of a flash kd. Overall de la Hoya was more active, threw some nice combos and hard single punches, used his footwork well to keep Whittaker out of distance till he wants to throw his punches, great speed and accuracy, high ring iq displayed throughout, boxed well on the outside and on the inside, displayed good defence throughout as Whittaker did struggle to land at times and de la Hoya landed some big right hands throughout. Whereas Whittaker displayed great speed, nice footwork to get in and out of range, used the jab well at times and landed it well, had a sharp left hand, nice head movement to make de la Hoyas miss at times but lacked the workrate to control many rounds and this was a problem.good competitive fight but I find it very hard to give Whittaker the win in this one as de la Hoya did control a lot of rounds so in my eyes de la Hoya won this comfortable way scores did everyone else have?

    This wasn’t probably the best de la Hoya fight I’ve seen in terms of a war. Such a good fight to watch with both showing heart and chins on them. Very close and competitive 1st half of the fight with de la Hoyas outworking Mosley, throwing a nice left hook to body, nice combos, landing the better bodyshots, doing well on inside, pressing well and using his defence to make it hard for Mosley to throw and is the harder puncher whereas Mosley was slightly more accurate, displayed better hand speed, nice jab, great right hand, nice boxing on outside, landing some hard single shots and showing a nice defence throughout.in the 2nd half Mosley controlled into upping his workrate, displaying much faster hands, landing more accurately and landing well to body and head using combos to win the 2nd half comfortable to win a Close but competitive fight. Overall de la Hoya did some good pressuring, threw some nice combos, used his footwork to walk Mosley down, landed some good bodyahots like the left hook, did well on inside and some decent accuracy. Whereas Mosley displayed the better stamina, blistering handspeed and accuracy, better single shots and nice combos of his own, did well both head and bodywork, used his footwork to box well on outside, used the jab well to keep de la Hoya at bay, switched stances nicely, showed nice head movement and defence and won his round so more clearly. What scores did everyone else have? What fights should I watch?
