How far North and South through the weight divisions do you have to go to find a legit KO artist who possess the kind of HL reel savage one punch lights out KO power Dishy Dave does? HW CW LHW SMW LMW WW LWW LW SFW FW SBW BW - Inoue
I'll bw honest with you, I dont know much if anything about him so cant comment but you know your **** so I'll agree with you on it. If Jacobs beats Canelo that may bring up Derevy's name more to casuals or even better -- if he got a fight with Canelo and fought his ass off win or lose. Same goes for Korobov, and they are both good enough to beat the best in their division on their best nights though I think Jacobs will always slightly edge Derevy.
And Jacob's drew with GGG imo and could even agree with the assertion he actually beat GGG razor closely. Jacobs is better than both Charlo and Korobov at the moment and though its possible, I doubt Charlo ever becomes as good as Jacobs or betters him.
Not at all. I don't care much for Golovkin, but he won seven clear rounds in that fight, and had a knockdown. Jacobs was content with the moral victory of being able to take Golovkin's power. He should have fought back more, and not let himself get out jabbed.
Agree to disagree. Regardless, a prime Jacobs IMO would always be a stylistic problem if not nightmare for GGG, even a younger and prime GGG. Jacobs is without a doubt one of the most underrated boxers in the world right now, if not the most underrated. Because of his immense talent he was brought along and rushed too quickly early in his career, leading to his fight and KO loss against Pirog. He simply was not ready at the time to face a fighter as good as Pirog was, and unfortunately that loss will always be the prominent factor in his underrated status. Since then Cancer was diagnosed with Danny Jacobs and got its ****ing ass kicked, and he has stormed back and developed into the fighter he always had the potential to become. Prime for prime, I think it's a toss up between Jacobs and GGG, but neither would ever blow the other out and it would always be close and competitive. But that's all in boxing. What's more important and more impressive than anything a boxer accomplishes in his sport/profession, is the personal growth and becoming of a man some fighters make. Danny Jacobs -- as a man -- is as good if not better than any other current boxer. He truly defines the term "class act" and carries himself confidently and proudly as a MAN inside the ring, outside the ring, and in his personal life.
if korobov schooled charlo without even fighting more than an eight rounder in four years, imagine how bad he'd destroy charlo if he had the guts to rematch.
What about that chin? You do realize that Korobov has never been down right? His chin is actually amazing. How many other fighters could take several right hooks from Lee and bombs from Charlo and not go down?
Jermallo didn't almost ''sleep him'' Hell, Andy Lee didn't come close to sleeping him and he cracked Korobov with at least 10 big lefts and rights after hurting him with that initial right hook ie. Lee's pet punch ie. a punch that when it landed like that would usually either spark his opponents out cold in HL reel fashion or at the very least drop them. Korobov not only managed to remain vertical after eating that barrage of shots from a legit banger, but remarkably he still had his legs beneath him when the ref waved it off. Korobov can be hurt but AFAIA he's never hit the canvas amateur or pro and he fought a ton of big punchers and elite and great amateurs who went on to become great pros, world champions, and top 5 pound for pound stars.
