crikey that's a shock. I really like Chantalle Cameron. Very disappointed to see her falling out with the mcguigans too. Shane mcguigan in particular seems a difficult person to deal with, very inflexible and almost aggressive, domineering even. I get the impression it's his way or no way and you can't deal with people like that. I hope chantelle can find new management quickly and I wish her every success.

 

I think that's very assuming. Shane has proved to be a top trainer. Surely the best trainers adopt a "my way or the highway" attitude?

It's increasingly obvious that Barry is both greedy and disastrous with finances. That's more likely the source of the fall out.

I hope someone with a tv deal signs her up as she's an excellent fighter. I hope it works out for her. I also hope fighters stay clear of Barry and his gang.

 

I see she has posted on her social media she was stressed by having to chase money. People like the Mcguigans need their manager and promoter licenses revoked as it's terrible people are not being paid on time. I would imagine Chantelle Cameron's purses are small so no doubt non or late payment leaves her personally skint.

 

Promoters should be forced to place money in an escrow account before the event. It’s terrible.

 

This or the board simply brings in legislation which says a promoters licence will be revoked it payment isn't made within 7 days post fight.

The board could easily solve this issue with the threat of taking away licences.

 

I know, it's like another well known promoter who liquidated companies to avoid paying his fighters. The only way is stripping licenses and agree with @Scissors they need to put money up front even if its a bond.

 

Agree completely. In this day and age it's both embarrassing and completely unacceptable, yet the board continue to do nothing to enforce what should be one of the top priorities.

 

Was just about to say that, he would be an excellent signing for Hearn.
