Not really sure what this guys problem is, he looks and talks like a serial killer.

Not the biggest Hearn fan but feel sorry for him having to deal with this deviant

He’s not wrong though. For us the British public who pay for sky we do want more Saturday night fight nights and we deserve them.

I get the feeling sky are a bit fed up with hearn spending to much time with the whole Dazn worldwide thing and he’s constantly welcoming new fighters to the team every week that none of us have heard of.

I think sky want him to concentrate on home turf now with stacked cards that aren’t always ppv and with domestic clashes on them which is fare enough.

Plus he hasn’t delivered wilder or fury for AJ

Sky won't be remotely bothered about what's happened with Joshua. Since Hearn started sticking him on PPV Joshua has shifted somewhere in the region of six million PPV buys for them alone.

Agreed with Smith tbf. Saturday night cards are important, and as a non football fan, essential for Sky being worth paying for.

Hearn is becoming a caricature of Hearn at the moment. His IFL stuff seems like David Brent go

Smith, at times, can waffle a load of nonsense

But here I feel he is talking sense

Yes, that’s wonderful everybody knows that. But I made the point yesterday that because of DAZN Sky are getting Johnson - Moynhan in the US instead of
Johnson- Buatsi In a prime time cracker for the British.

Also, do you think sky make more money showing AJ - Whyte on prime time or against Miller at 4am?

Now im perfectly kool with AJ- Miller, but are Sky interms of business purposes..I doubt it. They would probably have been expecting Hearn to have delivered a Wilder by now aswell.

It goes without saying Sky make more money having Joshua on at 10pm rather than 4pm. But what are they going to do? Joshua is front and centre as one of the faces of Sky Sports. They can be annoyed all they like but that won't equate to them dropping anyone. Joshua v anyone at anytime brings in more coin than a dozen domestic shows and they patently don't care about non-football fans given football is the biggest fish in the pond by, without exaggeration, a million billion miles.

Who said anything about sky dropping anybody? We know what AJ brings to the table, but the simple fact is, this whole Wembley saga has been a complete shambles and Sky Bosses are clearly not amused. Anybody with any common sense on here has been saying this would be the case for months and now Adam Smith in a very direct way has told the public, what he has been telling Eddie in private- we expect you to deliver for Sky.

Quite what they intend to do about it, If it carries on, only time will tell.

Not long ago you were claiming Hearn was silent about DAZN and were insinuating that the DAZN/Matchroom deal was coming to an end.

Now because of DAZN sky are losing out? So which is it exactly?

The comments on Adam Smith's IFL interviews are comedy gold.

Definitely the type of bloke to sniff his index finger after wiping his arse

The insinuation that Sky 'aren't happy' is that Sky would do something about it no?

I'm happy to accept Sky would rather have an AJ Wembley fight over an AJ New York fight. But they're not in a position to threaten anyone with anything. The contracts are in place and AJ brings in more money than any fighter alive for them. He can say Hearn needs to start delivering domestic shows; arguably some of that is falling into place with the likes of Smith Eggington being signed up.

Either way, the 'complete shambles' of Wembley is probably overstated.

Smith is right that Hearn still has a duty to Sky and has to deliver for them on Saturday fight nights. I don't think Smith was acting weird here, he was just stating how important the shows are for sky and Hearn doesn't have free reign to produce whatever he wants.

Beef it certainly was not but it was good to see Smith share his views.

    It’s both.

Johnson v Moynihan is not going to help bring in subs for DAZN. It just helps him to put together a card ..that’s all really and sets up the winner as a patsy to get smashed by Bivol On another card which also won’t bring in subs.

If he doesn’t get GGG god help him.

Did you not just hear what Adam Smith just said...are you saying he is happy with broadcasting crap from Kansas and the rubbish tonight instead of solid fight nights that Hearn used to produce?

    Wembley overstated!? Only a Matchroom
bum sniff would try to play this down. It’s a major **** up.

I bet Eddie was telling Sky he’s got Wilder where he is wants him for April 2019 when that was arrogantly booked prior to Wilder-Fury being announced.

And now there having to take a massive gamble over in a new market against a fighter who has zero appeal even in his own City.

I’m happy enough with the fight, but best believe Hearn is scared stiff how the event will turn out interms of tickets/general buzz etc.
