The worrying thing for Ball is Richards isn't doing that much, he is very relaxed and just letting some shots go.

Jake Ball has serious vulnerability problems.

 

Ball was never the same after getting KTFO by McDonagh. I watched his last fight and it was hilarious. I have never seen such a comedy called a boxing fight EVER BEFORE. Everyone who has 10 minutes of free time should rewatch the fight vs. Kotey. It WAS unreal. The knockdowns of Kotey were one thing LMAO, but how Ball boxed vs. a guy who wasn't even there to fight, not even there to survive, just there to stand in front of him, was ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING.

i was there for the Sheriff fight and thought he looked quite good, he looked alright against Shinkwin as well but this is disastrous

Richards patiently using his jab to score points. Ball trying to jab with him, but Richards unloads another heavy right hand and Ball goes down again. He might as well just go home now. Richards has a minute to finish him off as Ball rides his bike around the ring. Richards catches him again and the ref stops the fight.

I had a tremendous feeling there would be an early knockout when the DAZN commentators were claiming this could be an ugly fight that goes the distance lol. Always seems like there’s a commentator’s curse in that regard

Indeed it was. Jake Ball is packing one of the worst glass jaws I've seen in a while. He's almost Amir Khan level.

 

God I’ve seen some chins but that’s ridiculous. I doubt a fly could land on it without putting him out for the count!
