For the record, this is one of the rare times I picked the Russian to lose by KO.

Commey's foot work is impressive. He is quite a dancer.

Impressive by Commey, I didn't know anything about Chaniev but it looked to me like they were both feeling the weight of each other's shots in that opening round but Chaniev was feeling the weight of Commey's a little more. Chaniev never recovered from that first KD which was a finisher of a right hand

Uh maybe do your research before asking questions that dumb. He was coming off a pretty solid run, defeating former interim WBA lightweight champ Ismael Barroso and former Euro champ JP Bauwens (let me guess, your casual ass has never heard of either of them ). He was ranked IBF #3. He perfectly well belonged in a vacant title match. Educate yourself better or STFU.

big nelson is strong as an ox. gonna be interesting to see how loma deals with the raw strength. hes easy to hit, but can loma hurt him while avoiding getting hurt himself?

Commey has power and pretty good technique but his defense is trash and Lomachenko would have a field day twisting his ankles, tying him in knots with his superior footwork and countering him up to a cuts or towel stoppage.

Barroso? The guy Crolla blasted out? The same guy who barely won a decision against a shot to pieces Burns who lost every round to Indongo? And I never heard of JP Bauwens, just because your nerdy ass knows about him doesn't make him actually decent lmao. He was an absolutely terrible opponent, Commey being a champ at 135 shows how weak that division is alone, but his opponent was even worse, hence the 2nd round ko.

Exactly, 99% of this forum had no idea who Chaniev was, except for @IntentionalButt and a few others, awful title fight.

I really hope Kovalev gets his **** together this time around. It's disgraceful that he gets paid for what others would sell their soul for and doesn't even take training seriously.

I agree to a extent, that man was some serious power though. Don't Loma gets a little touched up by everybody.
