Round 1

López is flipping out jabs into Magdaleno's chest. A couple of southpaw 1-2s from Magdaleno, descending on a slant into the belt line. Body shots in reply now from López, who keeps his left arm carried low, right glove up by his chin, in a PBF-esque stance. Magdaleno threads in a nice sneaky right upper-hook on the bottom of the jaw and then fluidly pulls himself outside again. Magdaleno is stepping to his right and jabbing beneath the armpit of López. Magdaleno clapped on the left cheek with a hard López croupier-stick right hand. Magdaleno squatting and twisting his body 45 degrees away from López, able to pinch his gloves together just in time when López fires a 1-2 and catching the right cross. López opens up at the warning clap of ten seconds, landing a few power shots as Magdaleno laughs and mugs at him.

Joe Martinez is better than both of them IMO. And they're light years better than Diamante or Contreras, all three of them.

 

Diego is no joke - a crafty well-schooled veteran ...so, maybe.

 

Round 2

López is ducking in and snapping upright to bat down Magdaleno's right glove with his left jab. López using all sorts of different angles with tricky footwork to land on Magdaleno from various directions, throwing from different heights. Body shots from López. Charging lead right uppercut on the chin by López, buckling Magdaleno's knees but he's able to scuttle away popping right jabs at the face of López. Another nice dash-in uppercut by López and Magdaleno is hurt again, but recovers. López has bloodied Magdaleno's nose with the left jab. Magdaleno spiraling away now, counter-clockwise, pushing the southpaw jab but getting countered with both hands by López.
