The most distinctive thing I see in Lopez is that he puts a ton of power into his counter punches without sacrificing timing... Even his check hooks and such start from the legs.

 

Why even count there ref? Should have stepped in before he landed that last punch too. But the corner have no right to be upset anyway - they should have stopped it.

I really hope Lopez gets put in the ring with Lomachenko this year. Lomachenko humiliating this clown would be the most satisfying thing I could watch in boxing this year.

Against someone who can make him miss he'll need to vary the approach a bit more, I think, but he'll be a world champ, no doubt.

 

This is the guy from the BEIN boxing commercials. It's crazy how in MMA this wouldn't have surprised me because I've seen it more often. Boxing is more classy, that celebration looked out of place. Trash.
