I think the Norton fight is the best Foreman looked. Norton's chin ( But not nerves ) , if you look at it might have been better than Frazier's. Ali hurt Frazier and buckled him a few times. He did nothing of the sort vs Norton.
Ali couldn't land anything on Norton. Kenny took his jab away and also the right hand. Frazier on the other hand forced the action. He walked through everything Ali could throw. He was slipping and sliding on the way in but he was coming in whether he was hit or not.
Tell that to the people who gave Ali the 3rd fight. Ali landed some. I agree Frazier got hit a bit more.
This is the answer every fighter/trainer understands watching the styles....his chin was OK but his crab defense, leaning over his left leg and dragging his back leg behind him he could not move out of range very well because of his stance.....he got away with it most of the time because he was a big strong powerful man when the average heavyweight was smaller than him but against punchers you need the ability to stick and move he didn't......
