    This is where I was banking on Kova starting to implode, and gets finished off around the 11th.

    But I wasnt expecting him to look good either soooo....

    I have it 7 - 1 Kovalev. there were a few close rnds. Could be 6 -2 or 5 - 3 Kovalev.

    Alvarez is no ward that's for sure. Now he needs to be testing KOv's stamina, but Kov's punches have slowed him down too .That's the danger of thinking you can take Kov out with one punch

    Álvarez is jabbing with Kovalev, and both are falling into clinches, grinding their shoulders into each other until the ref splits them. Álvarez is getting the worst of the jab battle as Kovalev steps in with confidence, but Álvarez is able to instinctively lash out with a short counter right, landing flush, but Kovalev stands up to it well. Kovalev pushing forward, jabbing and forcing Álvarez to hop inside and hold or else find himself corralled into the ropes.
