    Wlad has never avenged anything in his life. He waited until Brewster was war torn to even face him again.
    So far he has yet to fight Purrity, Sanders, Fury, Joshua for revenge .

    Álvarez is getting pushed into a corner by Kovalev's jab and then scrubbed on the right temple by a pawing triple left hook from Kovalev. Álvarez rushes in missing a big left hook over the head as Kovalev bends forward to get under him, then grabs him around the waist until a break is called. Lots more clinches now, every few seconds. Álvarez puts Kovalev in a headlock. Álvarez chops with a couple of right hands on the rear & top of Kovalev's dome, but Kovalev pulls himself upright and scores a few hard jabs to drive Álvarez back. Another long clinch. Álvarez huffing and puffing now, and he gets warned by the ref for grabbing and not letting go.

    10-9 Kovalev, ugly frame but he got the overall best of the actual connects.

    7-4 Kovalev. Kovalev is in,shape this fight. Alvarez landed some hard shots that round and Kovalev took them well.

    Yeah, this was horrendous. If ever there was a disappointing anticlimax starting at 1am, fully six hours into a broadcast... :lol:

    I have money on Kova too, but Ill never hope for a robbery. I was wrong, screw it... Ill pay for it. Kova deserves the win.

    But I completely agree with you, I didnt even analyse this fight, I just flat out thought Kova was done.

    Alcoholic, has looked on clear decline, looked like garbage against Igor, stopped already by Alvarez, legal issues outside the ring, ect, ect.

    I genuinely thought he was done at this level.

    Im pissed :lol:
