I understand what you mean being on the east coast but Kovalev is doing good and the KO is not gonna be there anymore like before. All that hype from HBO has built an expectation that Kovalev can no longer continue. He is now Sergey "Ward Jr." Kovalev. Expect long drawn out bouts and decisions.

Kovalev proves to still be elite then, despite his age and problems outside the ring, impressive. If he keeps it up his HOF is waiting for him.

Remember he got screwed vs Ward and cry baby spastics like @Willie Maeket went to youtube to spazz out about the robbery and claim that it was fair, that autistic melon head.

Alvarez a tough kid. Took lot of leather and still tried to walk down big puncher

Wow, I thought Kovalev was done. I am glad I was wrong. Even his physique looked tighter tonight. Looks like he might be getting his ducks in a row.

i was wrong about both kova and alvarez. i thought sergei looked fragile early on, but he stood up to some hard shots. i thought alvarez was more than a 1 trick pony.

Kovalev won . I must say he has the lead left shoulder check down pat . Kovalev fought an excellent fight .

Alvarez looked for the KO punch that never came , not the greatest performance .

I like how Kovalev went straight for the rematch, gotta handle your business right away. He got the right coach and really made the necessary changes in the ring. Gotta respect that

Kova can box, but he’s not what he once was.
