He's been boxing practically his whole life, he's in his prime. Fights like the one he just had aren't doing anything for him. Let's see him get a title shot or a fight for a title shot.

I think I am reaching with that to be honest, but with that said, any fighter who has tons of speed, excess power and the ability to reel of fast hard combinations has the ability to beat anyone. That combination of abilities give anyone huge issues, including Loma. Personally, I would love it if Teo started to ask for the fight now and took it. He would get a prime Loma and it would be golden for his career and launch him into stardom. If he loses, Loma gets some credit but Teo still has years left to fight. Look at Canelo, lost to Floyd and is now a cash cow in boxing.
i love the fight. loma would have to show me something new to win this one, great fighters can do that. i think he would give mikey a fight of the year type of chess match too, except mikey can put his lights out too..
those who know boxing would give him credit. all the things loma lacks in this fight, teo has in surplus. even if loma doesnt get all of his right now, this kid is gonna clean out 140 within 3 years and it will become lomas best win so far.
That kid needs to do something credible first. So people won't say. "what has lopes done " when Loma beats him
i think special fighters can be identified before they reach full potential, losing to loma is not gonna eliminate him from being special, this kid is going to destroy a lot of fighters. in 10 years, loma will have a special scalp at 135. could possibly end up being his best scalp ever. there is no excuse for this fight not getting made this year, if legacy is important.
