Quality video thanks for posting @2fast2fury

Love the way Whyte shoots from the hip lol though he got caught out with fibbing about the rematch split.

If it's not Joshua, it'll be Povetkin or Parker II 100%.

Why did Hearn start bagging the career progress of Hrgovic, Joyce and Kownacki when they're all travelling along just fine? I know Kownacki turned him down and Hearn throws tantrums when people say no to him like 5 year olds would, but did Hrgovic and Joyce turn him down as well?

I don’t think Whyte was fibbing he said AJ if he lost wanted the lion share on the rematch then Eddie says eventually it got to 50/50 which is still crazy

How in the hell would AJ be entitled to HALF of the money in a rematch if he LOST the previous encounter?

Surely everyone can see that it’s AJ’s & Eddie’s greed that has killed the Fury/Wilder fights and the April date at Wembley?

They are way too greedy and I’m glad they won’t be earning a fraction of what they could have had at Wembley in April now that they have to travel to America.

Why would AJ be entitled to it? Probably because he's way more popular and generates way more money.

You think it is real because Whyte said so? If it was real why didn't they use the money to give Wilder and Fury higher guarantees in their fight? Wilder was $4m, Fury $3m (excluding PPV).

Offer was bollocks in my opinion

It does seem crazy that AJ would want the lions share of a rematch if he lost.

It's not fair and it's greedy, probably why a lot of these fights aren't getting made.

HOWEVER on the flip side AJ is the champ and he is offering a voluntary defence to someone so he has earned the right to make the demands. So you could say to these guys look you aren't going to get the best deal because you are a challenger BUT if you beat AJ not only do you get his belts you then put yourself in the position that he is now in. So you can call the shots and make all the money in future fights.

I can see it from both sides and there lies the problem. These guys are not willing to compromise on both sides to get these fights done. I feel boxing would be better if there were more mandatory shots given rather than allowing guys to voluntary so often.

Number 1 should fight number 2 in the division 9 times out if 10. That's not to say huge voluntary fights shouldn't be made but there should be something in place to get these top guys in a ring with each other. It happens throughout history so many times we don't get to see certain fights that should happen.

I totally agree. Whyte forgot to mention they got to the 50% figure in the end.

Whye is behaving like Wilder, undefeated with a belt. He has no belts and his sole defeat was a brutal knockout by AJ. He should have humbled himself and accepted 50/50 in rematch which he wouldnt have seen because he would have lost anyway
