Bivol vs Kovalev could still be a fight however. I'd favour bivol but it could be a 12 rounder

Kovalev looked solid. I didn’t know what to expect outta him ...but I’d hoped he’d show some mettle and he certainly did tonight.

Respect to the man for taking some big shots early on; I thought he might have been hurt a couple of times to both the head and the body. Yet he kept his composure (when you know that some self-doubt must’ve been creeping into the back of his mind), he cleared his head and then executed the game plan.

Speaking of that game plan it was great to see Buddy McGirt working a corner on the big stage again. The guy’s one of the best in the biz.

Krusher’s no spring chicken anymore, but the two of them have to be proud of what they accomplished tonight...and hopeful about what they might accomplish together moving forward.

Fair enough. With respect, I never read it all, I see the disclaimer and all the tags and it puts me off reading all the information. Didn't realise you include air times

Hats off to Kovalev and everyone who picked him. I didn't see this happening.

    So it's official? Kovalev>Stevenson. LOL

Props to Kova & his trainer. I wasn't convinced at that age & all the outside distractions going on but any talk of Kova being a mental midget or shot is over. That was an impressive performance, I truly think Kova is a great at the weight, not top 10 but still a great LHW... Bhop, Alvarez, Pascal, Chilemba, Campillo, Ward 1, Cleverly etc sorry but that's a great legacy to be a 3 time champion & vindication for all his fans too... Even better we get to see Kova v Beterbiev etc...

Every 175lb champion at 175 is Eastern European! Props..

I had faith that Sergey getting legitimately kayode was just a boot in the ass that he needed, at least with the Ward match he could make excuses but that one was all on him. Sergey is very prideful and I knew that it would burn his ass up thinking he would go out a loser, and that was all the inspiration he needed to get his s*** together. That combined with his calm demeanor and this Buddy Mcgirt interview convinced me beyond the shadow of a doubt that Kovalev would win tonight.

Where are the cries of corruption? Is that judge going to be CJ Ross'd out of boxing or get the Adalaide Byrd treatment? Did Kovalev's team pay off that judge to ensure victory?

You are not fair, 1 judge give more rounds to Kovalev, the other 2 did the same for Alvarez. In reality Alvarez took between 2 or 3 rounds, they give him 4 rounds, two of them, and the third one took these rounds back to Kovalev :))
