Ward with 32 fight and only 14 I think that were 12 round fights the lack of activity makes it hard to put Ward in a proper place. Very talented and had better than average stamina. I think he wanted a short career with the least amount of damage.

Ward was never a popular or a money-generating fighter anyway so why would judges rig the fights for him anyway?

With Canelo you can understand but Ward? No way.

Ward because he lost 1 fight and won the rematch by cheating

Canelo lost to may, Lara and 2x to GGG and got caught cheating.

Not much respect for either, both great fighters and warriors but I cant respect people who cheat in many different ways like the two of them do

I'm not talking about just judges.

    * Every super six fight on home soil whilst every other fighter had to travel at least once.
    * Every other fight of his career on home soil, other than a couple of early career bouts in the Caribbean
    * Allowed to cut Kessler's face to shreds with headbutts
    * Fought a weight drained shell of Chad Dawson at 168
    * Dragged a journeyman super middle in Paul Smith up to a catchweight
    * Home soil, the majority of the purse despite being the challenger, four American officials and a decision in a fight 80-90% thought he lost against Kovalev
    * Same again and allowed a stoppage win through three shots to the testicles in the rematch. Refused flat out a request from the Kovalev camp for neutral officials (OK, they should have insisted on that for the first fight, but still...)

Though Ward has no doubt had a fine career, I don't think I have ever seen a single fighter have the deck stacked in his favour so much. What's more, his moronic fanbase make out like Golovkin was at fault for refusing to put up with this and demanding a level playing field for their mooted bout which never happened.

The Loaded Dice Ward nickname is there for a reason, despite his skills and achievements.

Hard to say, because both have resumes with disputed decisions, steroid use (canelo), and low blows headbutts (ward).
Both need help from promoters to win their biggest fight.
However, Canelo is generally a good guy when Ward is just a piece of ****.

Need to keep in mind Canelo's age when he fought Floyd. He was just 23.

If we're talking a better career in boxing, well, certainly that's Canelo at this point. He's equaled Ward in division titles, yet has a larger resume overall. And again, back to the 'career' part, he's made more money and received more fame than Ward could ever have dreamed of receiving. Canelo is an icon in the sport. Ward was just a highly talented champion. One can argue over who has better wins, but as far as career's go, canelo has this over Ward.

He was 23, but he'd been professional for eight years and had boxed more than forty professional contests. He was young, but not especially green. Put today's version of Alvarez in there with the Floyd of 2013 (so still pretty long in the tooth at 36, and fighting above his best weight) and the result, along with the manner of it, would be the same. Alvarez would be hopelessly outclassed again, for my money.

Both have had the cards heavily stacked in their favor during their careers. At least Canelo worked his way up from nothing from down Mexico way but has had the judges and refs in his pocket for more than a decade. Ward had this from his pro debut. At least Canelo went 24 rounds with Triple God and never touched the canvas, big props for that. Also how many ppv's did Ward participate in? What was his biggest purse?
Ward for me is like John Ruiz with a stacked card of refs judges and hometown venues.

Point is, your standard for how Canelo should have fought versus Floyd (the #1 boxer in the world at the time), just needs a little context is all. Personally, I was not surprised one bit. Canelo was rushed in to this IMO. I think 2 more years under his belt would have produced a better version of him at 154.

Lol you must hate Canelo! You must be the first person who scored him to lose ALL of those fights. I don’t believe you could be trusted to score any close fight or round in his favor with that result
