Someone pointed out on a thread that Miller is the 2nd best heavy in merica but doesn`t that prove that American heavyweight boxing is in a sorry state? I can`t think of any other decades when Miller would have been the second best in the US apart from the Wlad years, he`s truly an awful fighter, is he really rated high in the US or not?

Miller beats Joshua in June. Prepare for it.

He has a damn good engine for a fat body
I think he has a decent chance to stop AJ

I don`t think he hits hard enough, his punches are too slow.

Maybe but he`ll be a mile behind on points if he does, AJ is far more skilled than this caveman.

Wilder is from another panet to Miller, he`s woefully underskilled.

Later rounds? Because AJ will be boxing his ears off at first, no contest, this Miller has no defense, Fury would pitch a shut-out.

He is slower than most HW but he never runs down which is why if he uses his weight to lean on you or even inside clinching he can give anyone a tough night.

To me the top guys are still
    AJ
    Furry
    Wilder
Then Miller which is not saying a whole lot about the HW land today

Wilder is the mosr proven US HW, however i wouldn't rule out Miller being capable of beating Wilder in a potential fight (I thought Miller handled Washington beterr, not losing a round to him unlike Wilder).

Miller sparring partner kownacki is similar in style but even slower and easier to hit than Miller but with a bigger fan base.

However if there is a 8 man WBS tournament next month betweeen the best American boxers in Wilder, Miller, kownacki, Hunter, Ruiz Jr, Jennings, Martin and Breazeale . The person who I would favour to come out on top is Hunter, just on a completely different level technically despite the lack of height.

Maybe he's the number 2 US heavyweight but Breazeale and Kownacki would probably argue they deserve that recognition.

US heavyweight scene is obviously very poor, most of these US heavies seem to have turned to boxing as a alternative career. Wilder wanted to play pro football or basketball and only turned to boxing for money. Miller started off in MMA and is talking about joining the NFL, Washington was an American football player, Jennings played Basketball and American football, Kownacki is one of the few US heavies who always wanted to be a boxer.

probably I mean cant really name a guy to rate higher. is kownacki us born and based?

to me Miller is a mixed bag. I think he has good sharp fundamentals and has fluid combos counters and head movement

I question his power his gas tank and his opposition leaves something to be desired

I'm biased against Miller for the pulev duck but I'd like to see what hes made of

    Really?

You'd take Michael Hunter over Wilder, Miller, Kownacki, Breazeale, Jennings, etc?.

I've watched Hunter since his amateur days. Hunter isn't very good. If he fights Carlos Takam next, Takam wins.
