I'm still not sure half of the posters here have perspective on this. If someone would have said 12 months back that Joshua was offering Dillian Whyte, a man he's already KTFO, about 5 million for a voluntary (and don't forget, because it keeps getting forgotten, that challengers are supposed to WANT to fight for a unified bunch of titles), on a 60-40 split, with a 50-50 rematch for a fight worth tens of millions to each fighter...... then surely most of us would think this was a huge and fair offer from Joshua.

I say this as someone who prefers Dillian and would rather he won the fight, if it ever happens now.

For a guy without the Olympic Gold Medal, four belts & exposure that AJ has had, that is very impressive. Especially as an opponent like Parker isn’t much of a draw outside of his homeland either.

Wonder how much Whyte earned from that fight?

Do you think for one second that it is JUST the belts that matter??What planet are you living on? These guys wouldn't be fighting for free just for some glory.

Your life is on the line every time, each punch you eat could be your last. They do it for their families, to secure their future and their retirement.

If you think for one second Dillian is going to allow himself to be shortchanged JUST to get to number 1 status and JUST for some belts you are naive. Don't be silly .

Money comes hand in hand with the belts. Dillian ain't giving AJ the lions share TWICE, that is bull****. And opportunities to make this money don't come everyday, so you need to grab ALL you are worth and ALL that is fair.

16.6 per cent is not fair for Dillian.

    1 Million GBP

And yes it is impressive given how AJ has a whole machine behind him, Dillian manages himself.

He's gone up in my estimations. He's very much his own man and refused to be utilised as a chess pawn to advance the career of others. The vid of him talking to Bazza was enlightening. Whyte knows the deal.

Personally think Whyte should have signed up for the fight. However, it is pretty hilarious how Hearn has tried to convince the public that Whyte is a standalone ppv star & it's bitten him in these negotiations as Whyte has clearly bought into Eddie's hype!

Yeah funny how that turned out to be the best PPV... like ever.... 20 quid welllllllllllll worth it mate. What did you end up watching that night? A shoddy pixelated stream on your calculator?

No chance. After Miller, matching AJ with an exciting opponent not named Whyte, Wilder or Fury is going to be hard. AJ might fade into obscurity.

I'm guessing Whyte v Breazeale, which should be entertaining.
By then we will have Kownacki, Ortiz ,maybe Ruiz Jnr,Pulev ,or possibly one of the UK lads might have stepped up.
A J can only fight who is around.

    AJ: Yo Dillian, what's crackin
Dillz: Bruv you're an idiot. Why take you so long to start negotiations?? It's January you fool.
AJ: Doesn't matter listen.. I'm offering you 5 Million, and on the rematch I get 70/30 split if your arse is lucky to win
Dillz: That's bull****, Hearn how much estimated revenue
    HearnyBaby: Bout 30 Millz mate
Dillz: I get less than 20 per cent? And 30 on a rematch??????
AJ: Yeah and if you beat me twice you get 35 per cent for a trilogy.
Dillz: But there isn't a trilogy in that case...
AJ: Fine you get 37.5 on trilogy.
HearnyBaby: Faxing you the contract now Dillz
Dillz: Good, I'm out of toilet paper
