He hasn't fought anyone yet but he is a specimen who has decent fundamentals, speed and good power. 2 more years and we will be talking about him. Would love to see him start to move up the competition ladder. His opponents so far haven't helped improve his skills, only pad his record. They would smart to have him fight one of the middle tier HWs. This content is protected
Most importantly, he is very young at only 24 years old. 6ft 5in too, I hope he turns into something special. He could be one of the young fighters that takes on mid-thirties Joshua/Wilder/Fury, kind of like a passing of the torch or new generation.
It's hard to know whether power is legit because, kind of like when Tyson was rising through the ranks, guys are totally intimidated before he even throws a punch, a la, Curtis Harper.
He has a ton of physical talent but he is quite raw as hes only been boxing for 7 years. To play soccer takes a lot of athleticism and if this guy has legit power, develops world class skills and doesnt have a chin of fine china he is going to dominate the division for a decade. That being said, those ar a lot of ifs.
Actually, I see Efetebor Apochi as a much better fighter. He fights at cruiserweight. Has more power, skill, better moevemnt but they both bring something new in their respective divisions.
Way too early to tell how far Ajagba will go. He's indeed raw and so far had everything his own way fighting very much over matched opposition. Will be interesting to see how he does when he doesn't just has a human punching bag in front of him. I can see flaws in his game, his movement could be better, no head movement and he has no inside game. He will need to improve a lot if he's to be a true contender but he is young and so has time to improve.
If he can properly utilise that reach against the better opponents, he is going to be a big problem anyway, combined with his other attributes, he could be a star. Jury is out until he steps up though
