I have already pushed a bureau in front of my door for protection. Who do you like here, prime vs. prime? I am going with Leon.
Leon might have some early success here, but sooner or later the sharp shooting Cornishman would find the spot with something big and have Spinks on ***** street and Fitz was an excellent finisher.I'll give Neon Leon 8 rds before Old Bob manages to lower the boom.
I know, some will argue that Leon was one of the weakest HW champions, and he certainly had one of shortest "primes"... but I will stick my neck out (and wait for the incoming abuse!) and say, that on his best day (obviously first Ali fight) I would take him to beat the Fitz that dethroned Corbett.
Fitz is so far above Leon, Leons strength will buy him a few rounds, Bob will counter knowing whats in front of him and then Ko's Leon when the time is right, say the 8th or 9th after administering a beating
Leon's size will bother Fits because when Fitz was a Heavyweight world champion, sometimes heavyweights weighted like 180 pounds and Fitz was slender. Plus Leon was a US Marine, he was not backing down But Fitz's mastery means he'd whup Leon's butt in the end. Fit'zs by tko between rounds 6 and 8.
