How's the southpaw Moorer do up against the Nigerian danger man ? The Moorer that beat Cooper verse Ike who KO'd Byrd . 12 round's ?
I'd expect Moorer to outbox Ike for a few rounds then, when his momentum is rolling for Ike to begin to dominate Moorer whose chin wasnt the best.Ike by late stoppage of dec.
I like Ike in 4-5. Moorer had power but Ike was able to get to the slippery Chris Byrd and get him out of there. Ike was an absolute beast.
Moorer didn`t box v Cooper he wass just brawling, if he did this v Ike he would get KO`d because he couldn`t take a bigger guys shot very well at all, Foreman was slower than Ike when he stopped Moorer.
I don't see MM getting past the fifth to be honest .He'd do OK for the first couple of round s ,mixin in the jab and lookin confident attacking. But Ike's just biding his before nailing him .Moorer would go out like a light ,Ike way to powerful for the former light heavy imo .
Moorer in his prime and in shape would beat Ibeabuchi. However, if Moorer came in out of shape at 220+ Ibeabucchi might tag him and pull an upset.
You guys don't give Ike; credibility for his boxing skills credit due to the great Curtis Cokes. I WATCHED HIM TRANSFORM I KE FROM A BRAWLER TO A GREAT BOXER PUNCHER Ike dominates KO 6
Ike was peaking when the law caught up to him. I think he beast Moorer, Holyfield and Tyson in the mid to late 1990's too. Lewis vs Ike could have gone either way. Lewis would need to be up for this fight to win it.
Ike by KO He doesn't have the power or chin of Tua and doesn't have the slick skills of Byrd Too bad he was barely getting started in his career and was showing serious potential and ability at that level
