AJ and Fury is tight, Wilder and Whyte are tight. We cant forget Uysk will likely be requiring a spot in there himself sometime soon. And yes i still hold Povetkin at 3, he is clearly near the end of his career but im not convinced anybody else is good enough to definitely beat him at this moment in time.

 

1a. Wilder--still undefeated after a year of 1st tier oposition.
1b. Fury--got the draw, undefeated, lineal.
3. Joshua--still hasn't tested the top like Wilder and Fury.
4. Ortiz--bounced back from spirited loss to Wilder, but needs to beat a good opponent to be off shaky ground.
5. Povetkin--performed okay against Joshua. Needs to show he's still serious.
6. Pulev--does just enough to not be ejected.
7a. Whyte--building hype off sloppy performances over carefully matched opposition with questionable judging and reffing. Chisora's level has been well established outside the top ten and his wins required favorable judging and reffing. See below for Parker.
7b. Brezeale--Solid wins over Izu and Negron, both risky fights against rising contenders. Hurt somewhat by inactivity.
7c. Parker--Just good enough to edge most top 20 and 30 heavyweights. His WBO strap was virtually meaningless considering he won it by scraping by Andy Ruiz and doesn't have a quality defense to his name. Joshua revealed his level, but he does deserve a rematch with Whyte considering the bout came down to a headbutt--induced knockdown. Expertly managed career.
10. Miller--Top 5 h2h but hasn't proven it.
11. Kownacki--Same level of opposition as Miller, but looks worse.

I saw him lose his last fight. The only time hes fought somebody good in his whole career and he lost.

 

If you believe there’s such thing as an even punchstats fight where the challenger gets floored twice in separate rounds and still wins despite the judges calling it a draw. If you somehow don’t believe Luis Ortiz is good.

 

Ortiz couldnt even pass a pre fight medical. And you know Fury beat Wilder, the stats say draw but we all saw Fury beat Wilder. Even Wilder didnt think Wilder won his face at the final bell said it all.

 

I didn't see Ortiz fail a preflight physical in the last year. I didn't see Wilder lose either.

Fury would've won had he put together a decent offense or not been floored twice. I'm still letting him share the top spot and he should have a rematch on the way.

 

Were you backstage in Ortiz locker room ? If the answer is no , how could you see him not pass the medical exam hours prior to the Wilder fight where the announcers at the beginning addressed the situation of a late replacement was a last second decision under consideration.

 

If you're suggesting that the New York Boxing Commission, among the strictest in the country, put Ortiz's life at risk by allowing him to compete in an athletic event, I suggest you contact Ortiz and get the case started ASAP.
