Beterbiev just for the sheer brutality that that fight will yield. It would be a classic slugfest. This era's Gatti/Ward, IMHO.

But I would also love to see him retire Yarde.

Beterbiev. Shame it didn't happen when they were both undefeated but obviously Kovalev's belts were stolen from him

Yarde hasn't beaten anyone with a pulse and he doesn't deserve a shot. The guy won't even fight any of his domestic rivals for goodness sake, hiding behind the lie the opposition they've been facing is of a higher quality because they're ranked above his domestic rivals. Johnson, Buatsi, Burton etc. would paddle the asses of every single one of those feather fisted Latvian, Slovakian, Lithuanian Hungarian, Ugandan and American Level truck drivers and janitors he's fought. Fight Buatsi or someone like a Hot Rod first.

I think Zurdo could be his next opponent. But I would love to see how Yarde is getting raped.

 how do you see Kovalev Vs Callum Johnson play out? Think the McCallum could catch him?

lol Callum can really crack so he could take this version of Kovalev out if he caught him with one of those big bombs of his. Those big thumping hooks have got a lot of weight behind them.

Anyone but Gvozdyk would be good.

Yarde :risas3: He has to retire his arch-nemesis TBA first.

Johnson could ko him but it’s also vica versa, but only one who could out box the other one is kovalev so I would go for kov.

Plus Johnson’s best win is Frank buglioni who was British level fringe European level and a former super middleweight.

Best next move from your listing would be to fight Yarde or Ramirez although both really dont deserve it as one has fought no one of note and the other is coming up in weight. I think Beterbiev and Gvozdyk KO's Krusher at this point. Personally I'd like to see him in with Bivol.

I like this thinking from Kov's legacy point of view. Fight Ramirez, Yarde isn't worthy and a win would carry no cred. A win over Ramirez would and then fight Bivol (unlikely as he's with dazn and is prepared to go down to super middle). Those would be two good wins then maybe call it a day and ride off into the sunset. As as a Beterbiev fan, I wouldn't mind seeing him fight Krusher. Artur is running out of time and is too good a fighter to not make a significant impact.

Kovalev's best move would be a Yarde fight, who I believe he'd
dispatch. Not sold on him in the least and I think he'll lose at
a far lower level than Kovalev.

In order of easiest to hardest task: Yarde, Ramirez, Gvozdyk, Beterbiev.
I still think Kovalev can box with Gvozdyk, I think Beterbiev is a nightmare
and will destroy this version of Kovalev.

    It has to be Beterbiev!!

If KRUSHER beats STEAMROLLER then he can rightfully lay claim to be on the best LHW's of all time.

Not casting a vote. Two of them (Beterbiev and Gvozdyk) would badly hurt him and almost surely leave him with a nasty degenerative neurological disease/issue down the road or at least accelerate its onset. And as much as he has declined from his prime I think he absolutely U-Boats the other two, I mean I really dont think they have a shot at all and are getting blown up bad if they do fight him. And if its the latter I think that's actually even worse for him because it will reinforce to himself he can continue on fighting which will undoubtedly lead to severe and irreversible -- if not grips to see -- head trauma. He was a hel l of a fighter, retire on a high note and take care of yourself and your issues outside the ring. After everything you gave to tue sport and its fans, the ups and downs you persevered through...... I vote (E) retires and rides off into the sunset with his favorite dog, Annie, whom he only kicked out of love - true crime of passion.
