“We did not receive any notification of Ivan Baranchik’s withdrawal from the tournament,” a WBSS spokesperson told ESPN. - Ivan Baranchik received a very large fee for the fight for the vacant title, and WBSS spent a lot of money on his promotion. Everything is stipulated in our contracts, and any attempt to violate them will entail very serious consequences. This applies to both fighters and promoters, managers and agents. ”

Dave Makuoter, manager of Ivan Baranchik, said earlier that they are expecting from WBSS attempts to challenge the decision to leave the tournament in court. “I think we will win,” said McWater. - We are the injured party and acted towards them more than honestly. They themselves violated their contract. ”

I'm more interested on who will replace him than the legal part. WBSS will win the court case anyway.

According to Dibella, Regis Progreys participation in the tournament also remains in question, but he himself can not influence this decision. “Regis’s future will be determined by himself and his manager,” the promoter said. “As in the case of Ivan, DiBella Entertainment is not in a contractual relationship with the World Boxing Super Series.”

So, the latest is that Ivan Barancyuk is up for semi final but Regi Prograis participation remains in doubt.

Who said that he's up for the semifinal? WBSS announcing it doesn't necessarily means that Baranchyk is ready to participate in it.

Him not participating would be a big loss.

Pretty sure they're gonna have a real hard time finding top 10 rated (name) fighters for another season after this.

Josh ''Jockachenko'' Taylor's sweet skills and Scottish slickness has put the fear of god into the entire division, so much so that even werewolves and Beasts don't want none of that Scottish smoke.

“At the moment we are not participating in the tournament,” said McWater. - People behind the scenes are working, trying to rectify the situation, and if they succeed, we will not be stubborn. We wanted to participate in this tournament. Ivan wants to meet the strongest, he will not mind going out even against the tank. But there were too many alarms. I do not want to blame everything on the organizers, they have their own problems. We would not mind a fight in February or even early March. But when there is talk of postponing the fight for May or even June, while they are ready to put money into the escrow account only a week before the scheduled date ... I cannot allow the boxer to sit for another four months without a fight, despite the fact that I have very little confidence that the battle will take place at all. As a person who has been doing business all his life, I doubt that the organizers of WBSS will cope with their problems. What if a week before the fight it turns out that they have no money? ”

Makuoter reiterated that he adheres to the earlier requirement that the organizers should put 500 thousand on an escrow account right now, and then add another 50 thousand every week so that in the event of a battle breakdown due to their fault, Ramil receives this money as compensation. “Very reasonable requirements, I think. However, they did not want to discuss, but instead began to talk about their contracts, in which everything is provided for, ”the manager said.

Makuoter added that he has nothing against the organizers personally, the idea of the WBSS tournament seems to him very correct and progressive, but he must act in the interests of his boxer. “I really like Ram,” said the manager. - This is one of the most hardworking and pleasant guys among all I know. And I cannot force him to sit and wait for a fight that will not happen anyway. ”

One day he's in the tournament, the next he's pulling out, then he's back in, pulling out again, back in, and now we learn that he's back out again which ever coincidentally coincides with Jockachenko posting these videos on his social media. Hmmm...

Unfortunately, i can see this being the last series. I think they've spread themselves too thin with 3 weight classes

Give his spot to Can You Dig It Yigit.:deal: He deserves it, he fought his heart out against Ivan, and it was stopped on the injury, what the hell.
