Ryder vs Lemieux

I really like Ryder, he can make this very competitive and possibly win if the fight is on home turf

Great opportunity for Ryder if it comes off and a very winnable fight.

Lemieux is always dangerous, but like Ryder has a small frame for 168. If you walk towards Lemieux like Stevens and Spike did, chances are your head will end up somewhere in the first row. He is both a one-trick pony and a frontrunner though; he doesn't adjust well in fights, and hasn't much of a history of using his power to turn losing fights around.

If Ryder can get past the first few rounds, and get his nose in front, I would fancy him to win. Lemieux isn't the most dedicated trainer, and when guys like that move up in weight they often fall into bad habits with the extra lbs to play with.

 

Fancy Lemieux to stop him early. Hope I'm wrong!

Very good analysis. As long as Lemieux is on his feet you have to anticipate the worst. Hope Ryder pulls it off.

Great fight, this is Ryders oppertunity and i think he can do it. Lemiux is still a dangerous fighter no doubt but he not as sharp as he once was, he is 100% on the decline and i think Ryder will be well up for this...either way i cant wait for this.

I’m a big fan of Ryder, love his inside work, strong as an ox but he is getting bingo’d in this fight, bud. Stylistically, I think he’s suited to Lemieux. Really hope i’m wrong again.
