Yep, he could even make middle weight and windmill there.
Wilder vs Canelo windmiller vs money. A little bit more weight loss and wilder can windmill at welter

P4P I'd say Kovalev has about the same power as wilder, but is a much better technician, and rather unlike Wilder in the way he fights. Wilder is a somewhat wide swinging power puncher, while Kovalev is more accurate and tends to pressure opponents more. Both KO artists, but they use their power differently.

Hey your that guy, right? Bronze medalist in the 2016 special olympics and favored to medal again in 2020? What event was it, 110 meter head butting high hurdles? Nice bro, really, very impressive. Respect where it’s due - those hurdles never stood a chance against that battering ram of a forehead you got. I’ll be honest, aesthetically speaking that forehead of yours is heinous, especially teamed up with your crossed eyes and tongue hanging out of your mouth but it’s a true blessing in your specific track and field event.

It doesn’t matter what weight class he is windmilling in, he factually embarrassingly hits WAY harder than “Krueger” who by the way has impeccable technique, base, feet, balance, and most of not all other fundamentals and technical aspects that aid in a fighters ability to punch hard. The fact Wilder can make Kovalev look like a female novice class featherfisted amateur by comparison to himself in spite of all his fundamentally fatal flaws and middle finger to tested and proven technique says all it needs to about both. Also as far as mental strength and toughness, resilience, unwavering self belief and confidence, balls, and courage in the face of adversity, Kovalev is a spoiled rotten, prissy, and bratty 8 year old girlie-girl in comparison to Wilder.

Plenty of MW’s walk around well over two hundred pounds and boil to 160 because they are scared of fighting someone who may be a little bigger so it’s not out of realm for Wilder to possibly be able to make MW or SMW. I guarantee he could make LHW and if he ever did BELIEVE Kovalev retires immediately, pleads guilty to assaulting a woman, and goes to prison to avoid being anywhere near Wilder.

One more thing, in the modern age of weight cutting well below natural fighting weight classes, not only does Wilder not do it even though he easily could down to CW or LHW, he’s actually the only current undefeated world champion who always swaggers into the ring against world class fighters while at a major size disadvantage, doesn’t give to ****s about it, and goes out like a warrior and fights his balls off and almost always highlight reel knocks out his opponents. And yes, he does this with all those flaws. He deserves more respect than any other current fighter for what he does and to top it off started way later than most guys with a way shorter amateur career. He’s essentially been learning on the job(a deadly one at that) and has more balls than any team of athletes or army of soldiers combined.

You lost me at '''deserves more respect than any other current fighter." For doing what exactly? For knocking out more bums than any other heavyweight champion of the modern era? For going life and death with a 50 year old man with a high blood pressure the first time he stepped up (after 35+ fights?) For being awarded a gift draw against a fat Tyson Fury coming off a 3 year lay off? For having fought a grand total of 3 top ten opponents (ranked by The Ring) in his 40+ fight professional career? For blatantly ducking and freezing out every boxer calling him out who poses a serious threat to him? (A.J, Whyte etc.) and then bragging about it? You cold tripping if you think this man deserves respect as a boxer, hell he ain't even got any respect for the sport.

Well, Wilder did show that you don't need even a basic skillset or a chin to be an alphabet champ at HW. All you need is power and a good promoter and you are set.
Even the lumbering elephant Nikolay Valuev looks like Vasil High Tech Lomachenko next to Wilder.
