I honestly don't think they messed up I think it was deliberate. The failed test was taken between the Hammer and the Wladimir fights so technically he should have been banned before the Klitscho fight, but if they had made the fight a "no-contest" due to a failed drugs test prior to the fight then I am sure they would have to refund sanctioning fee's and not have the prestige of a UK heavyweight champ. So it makes sense for BBBoC to fumble the proceeding, allow the cocaine and refused test to take over the media allowing them to start the ban from AFTER the Wlad fight and allow the media bonanza over mental health, coke, refused tests, suicide threats to help blur the lines. People talk about Fury being treated badly by BBBoC but I think he has had an amazing touch of luck, it seems the general public in the main believe he was caught sniffing a bit of gear while suffering mental health issues but the truth is he and Hughie both got caught with Nadrolone in the system. It is a powerful steroid helping an athlete train harder for longer and recover quicker meaning the risk of permanent and serious injury to an opponent is artificially increased because of this cheating. Everyone seems to know Whyte was banned for drugs and bring it up regularly despite this being an over the counter stimulant not illegal and not requiring a prescription. Yes Whyte and his team should know better and he served his time but how he gets more abuse for being a drugs cheat in beyond me.

It was from before the Hammer fight which is now a NC. It's part of the reason why people say he was treated bad as they spoke to them to say they had raised levels but nothing too bad. Then a few months after the Wlad fight they decided to charge them. Not saying he is innocent but it was a strange series of events.

Reports seem to say he failed A and B samples taken in February 2015 and March 2015, so at least one test he failed for Nandrolone was between the Hammer and Klitscho fights. Any sane, fair and reasonable body would NC the Wlad fight as he failed a drugs test for Steroids a few months before the WK one. Don't know where you're getting the march failed test from. Would be curious to see it. As I said I'm not saying he is innocent but UKAD acted very strange throughout.
