Sangria seems a bit obsessed with Tyson's **** charge. God knows what's going off in his twisted head and I'm not sure I'd want to know either.

The facts are skinny legged roided Holyfield still knocked ten bells of **** out of roided Tyson.

Take Evander off the roids and leave Mike on them and Tyson might see the final bell and that's about it.

Worrying to say the least, wouldn't surprise me if he stalks Miss Washington. I think he resents her for raping herself and not him.

Enough what goes off in his perverted mind, Holyfield had a very good career at HW and that's the bottom line.

This thread is absolute proof that Holyfields E N T I R E legacy as a Heavy is based on beating a washed up Tyson twice...a fighter who fought less than 10 rounds in almost 5 years...a fighter who spent almost 4 years in the can with zero training( he certainly was not bulked up when he came out , actually rather lean), lost his heart for boxing but naturally was drawn to the $$$$ that was thrown at him, everybody would take that deal..........Tyson did not give 2 F's about his career or legacy but he cared about the dough, , he was not even close to his physical or mental state he was before he went in......name me ONE Fighter that was successful under similar circumstances.....there are none, Ali or Foreman were never incarcerated.

Even today, Tyson does not want to talk boxing, he is tone death if you rate him or not, makes no difference to him if you rate him in the top 10 or call him a bum.....fact.

So again, take Tyson out of Holyfields resume, roids or not, he lost more than he won on the elite level............and went 24 with two fossils even unable to shut them out....... but the icing on the cake is his loss to the glass chinned feeble minded Michael Moorer who a ancient Foreman who literally lost anytime he stepped up until that point waxed Moorer with ONE punch on Moorer's first title defense.......one of the worst title holder ever that is Moorer...

Holyfield had a crowd pleasing style, came to fight, most likely due to roid rage increasingly used his head as a weapon but is easily the most over rated heavy of the 90's...................he is 4-4-1 with Tyson on his ledger , without he is 2-4-1, hardly the stuff of legends.

Or getting destroyed in his prime by a basketball player who never took boxing seriously - Buster Douglas?

Tucker was not a paper champ and was far better than Stewart, Mercer and Foreman, all three had very strong moments v a smaller Holy and Mercer even did well against a bigger `Vander. Tucker fought better against Tyson than Moorer did when he beat `Vander in their uneventful first bout.

Holy was dreadful against Moorer and Douglas would have beat Moorer the night he beat Holy, that fight was crap.

It was worse, Spinks tried to be overdefensive and was punching scared, Tyson opened him up with expetise and Spinks couldn`t take a heavy punch off of a prime fast handed heavy like Tyson, Holy wouldn`t have knocked a 31 year old Spinks out in 3 rounds, a prime Tyson would have knocked the sloppy Douglas that Holy fought out in 1 round in all probabilty.

Tucker was difficult because he knew how to spoil and use his reach, he was 6'5 and Holy only beat one person that height during his prime which was Bowe in a close fight, he would have had problems lie Douglas did with Tucker plus he had a great chin also, his long jab bothered Tyson until Rooney told Mike to slip under the blow and land te uppercut to the body.

    Precisely. Everyone was juicing.

Evander was just evening up the score.

Reading through this it has begun to dawn on me that this era couldn’t have been as good as we have been led to believe.

Holyfield is only great because he beat Tyson who lost to Douglas that Evander beat. Holyfield lost to Moorer who got knocked out by Foreman who lost to Holyfield. Bowe beat Holyfield but got the beating of his life against Golota who lost rather easily to Lewis and Tyson. Then we have Lewis who barely beats the washed up Holyfield either side of being annihilated by McCall and Rahman...

    Thats it. Perfect roundup.
Basically, they were not that good.

Bring in a prime Baer, Primo or Schmeling to clean that house out.
