Boxing Monthly held back no.2 because they wanted to do 2 and 1 on consecutive days. Now it’s Xmas so it’s first week or January (well, probably the 8th or 9th so I’ve been told)

But I still haven’t finished no.1 because life! But I am on track, I promise!

    You’re killing me, Flea!

Who will it be, Olivares AND either Dixon or McGovern?? The suspense!

I gotta tell ya...I have thoroughly enjoyed this project of yours. It has inspired a month long trek through the history of the bantamweight division. And I’m only a fraction of the way done in discovering (or revisiting) a lot of these fights you’ve covered here!

In my years as a fan of the sport I devour so much of the prose I come across. I’ve come to appreciate tales of Olivares’ heavy artillery, Harada’s relentless aggression and Jofre’s poise under fire...almost as much as I enjoy watching the fights themselves. So I felt compelled to tell ya that I’ve really, truly enjoyed your unique and comprehensive take on these fighters and the battles between them. Top shelf stuff, man. Thank you...and please keep us posted.

Due to the cost of character rights, the list has been canceled. Is Fleaman okay?

I am fine thanks. Just been busy with life as well as wanting to not do these last two a disservice. Xmas happened, I’ve been learning to drive, I have a full time job, a long-time girlfriend....sh** happens man, hopefully you enjoy no.2

Olivares is of course #1... so I guess, I'm now officially a savant?

Great stuff! I really enjoyed it... as I have the whole series.

Do you plan to make similar top-10s with other divisions?

Thanks mate. Have a read, certainly a fair few fall into the ‘super fly up to modern bantam’ limit I set out. I cover most of them in the article, but I’m well aware it’s a big one!

Learning to drive? I had no idea you were that young. Now that you can drive, you'd better save save or make some $$$ as the lady will want to go places. When you have the chance, let us know who the final two are.

    Cheers.
