I Personally cant wait for DAZN to be available in the UK. Sky charge way too much for monthly subscriptions and then expect you to fork out for PPV as well and when your introductory offer end they hike up the price and hope you wont notice and just keep paying. I'm hoping that when Matchrooms contract ends with sky that DAZN will swoop in as Matchrooms main broadcaster here in the UK.

The fun and games would really start between Matchroom and Sky if Joshua decided to self promote instead of being with Hearn.

If AJ causes a stir in USA then i am not sure why he would need Matchroom ...The American PPV market is huge and rakes in a lot more than 80 thousand fans at a stadium...Look at Mayweather he hardly ever fought in front of 20k and earned insane amounts....

I do think SKY are getting twitchy and when Hearn was once giving it 'You gotta be on SKY'...He is now telling fighters such as BJS to come over to DAZN where all the middleweights are ...And with Fury linked with BT who do SKY have as the next global brand??I dont really see one and all their stable of high profile boxers have grown old together..Time will tell

AJ wont be leaving Matchroom anytime soon.

Last year people were saying the same thing about him not needing Matchroom etc etc.

For the cut that Matchroom take I can see why AJ feels he doesn't need to take on that himself.

What cut do matcheoom take ?

Got a feeling that they are committed to overpaying him for this Miller fight to keep him onside.
Any idea how much DaZN are coughing up to show him?

Eddie said he's looking at a 25-30 million pound payday. He won't get more than 15 million from sky ppv after sky take their cut so I assume DAZN will pay him at least ten million pounds.

I have heard Eddie say a couple of times that they take 20% of total earnings of AJ.

Apparently, this is a standard promoters cut for a cash cow fighter.

Funny to listen to you lot fantasize sometimes.

Sky are not going anywhere. DAZN and Sky are working together in order to secure rights for major sporting events. DAZN will be available on Sky very soon.

Why has he been booted? Don’t get me wrong I barely agree with a word he says but he’s a good contributor on here and never resorts to personal insults or anything.
