    Thurman's power is overrated. He couldn't KO an old Lopez, who Maidana and Berto stopped.

    It happens.

    Bonecrusher Smith only knocked out about half the people he fought - 32 KOs in 62 fights for a 52% KO percentage.

    Cool name, though.

    :lol: Can't wait for Thurman to talk **** and say it will only take one punch to stop Manny. I am 100% certain Roach will bring up the fact that Run Time hasn't KO'd anyone in 6 years.

    I maintain he does have elite power at welterweight, he just isn't a Hawk or Pipino style destroyer. Look at the lineup he faced since 2013, and name me one person he ought to be ashamed of not having one-hit KTFO. :nusenuse:

    Even a monster hitter can embark on a dry spell if matched tough enough for long enough.

    We have to keep it in perspective, 2014 to the present:

    Danny: well known as a sturdy chin, Keith rocked him severely early (never seen him really rocked prior)
    Porter: known as someone with a sturdy chin, Keith rocked him severely multiple times
    Rob G: good chin, stopped only once, in his ill fated comeback fight, Keith rocked and dropped him very hard
    Collazo: warrior and excellent chin: Keith still made him capitulate and retire on his stool, he beat an undefeated prospect (also considered a puncher) in his next fight
    Kid Diaz: Stopped and permanently retired by Keith

    Admittedly Lopez is worrying but the guy was off for 2 years, coming back from injuries on both side (right elbow, left hand),
    dropped him hard (like he does most opponents), the never even really showed the urgency to knock him out.
    Keith's power hurts everyone he's in the ring with. His power is true, it's not Julian Jackson but it's definitely real.

    Thurman: Thurman really knows how to put all his power behind his punches. Even when he’s moving laterally, he finds a way to land a big shot from a weird angle. He has power in both hands.

    It's good power, but not elite. You have to factor in that he's generally bigger than the cats that he fought. This isn't Micro Pacquiao failing to put away guys that have 10-20 pounds on him.
