Interesting, laid back interview Sky sports on Dillian Whyte speaking about: - AJ Rematch negotiations breakdown - Miller vs AJ thoughts - Sizing up Ortiz, Povetkin, and Breazeale. "Breazeale is tough, he is younger, he is big.... he get's up and has a go" This content is protected
Fights Ortiz, wins some prune juice Fights Povetkin, makes some money Fights breazeale, gets guaranteed shot at world title holder WILDER.
Whyte answers the haters in the video: "With AJ, I tried to reverse the rematch clause splits, if I beat AJ I'll give him the same split he gave me first time round... but he said no" "And this was Eddie's idea for the Chisora rematch, had Whyte lost to Chisora, Whyte would have accepted the reverse split"
Sounds like Breazeale fight is in the bag going on his comments hyping up Breazeale (would that mean Uysk vs Povetkin?). Whyte vs Breazeale would be a easy nights work for Whyte in my opinion.
I find it very difficult to understand what he says. Is this some sort of a slurred speech or just the way he talks?
This is the way he talks, although admittedly his speech has slurred somewhat by around 7.5% If you need me to translate anything for you, I am more than happy. Thank you and Kind Regards
I like Whyte, but he does realise that while Joshua struggled with Povetkin, he beat Breazeale to a pulp.
Delusional dillian isn't the commercial draw that Joshua is even if he beats him. 50/50 rematch clause is generous. Far from a low ball.
I would say he did, yes. Joshua failed to stop Povetkin getting inside on several occasions, where Povetkin was able to land some telling shots. It seemed a pretty even fight, but with Povetkin landing the better shots, until Joshua landed the big one. Breazeale on the other hand was one step up from being a punchbag. I’d be seriously surprised and impressed if Whyte fought and beat Povetkin.
