See someone noticed this on Twitter. In the last 3 months - despite not fighting - Benn has gone from 10, to 9 and now to 6 (!) in the WBA rankings. Above Josh Kelly and Broner, no less. Honestly, I'd pay a score to watch him fight Pac man.
Yeah ive just seen this too. I mean the fact he was even ranked is quite astonishing but to be ranked 6th!?!?!? Boxing really is a joke 95% of the time

Truly unbelievable ...He is only ranked 6th in UK and 69 in the World...Can you imagine him in with Pac!!! Its slightly similar with Yarde ,he is highly ranked without having fought anyone much good....Although ive heard he is in for a huge step up this year
Similar with Miller too, fought nobody yet really high ranking. Rankings are nonsense a lot of the time and we as fans should apply knowledge and logic to how we rate a fighter. That said, I do enjoy watching him fight for his vulnerability and total lack of caring for being punched in the face.
It's an odd one. I know that silly continental belt gets you in the top 15 or something, so that's that but to be as high as 6th can't be good for him because at some point he'll have to fight one of those guys and...he sure as **** is going to get hurt.

It's an absolute **** show. Kelly is too high also, but Benn at 6 is mental. Would Benn beat Kris George who Kelly beat for the Commonwealth or even a shot Carlos Molina? I doubt it.
What are you talking ffs? Miller fought Washington, Wach, Dinu, Adamek, Duhaupas, Muralimov, Dennis and Dawejko. Benn has fought who actually? Nobody. Miller at least fought several Top 30/50 opponents.
I’m not comparing Miller to Benn, i’m criticising the ranking system. Not really impressed with them wins btw, i’d expect someone like Chisora, Joyce, Gorman etc to beat them opponents too.
The WBA are a complete shitshow. they've also bent their rules to allow Canelo to hold 160 & 168 belts, after he tried to vacate the 168 Regular. I know they're the oldest recognised governing body, but is there anyway to "unrecognise" a body?
