He has no clue how to adapt to Fury's unorthodox style and movement. It could be possible that Fury would have stopped Klitschko in the rematch. I just think Klitschko's style won't work against an awkward guy like Fury.

I favored Klitschko for the rematch. He couldn't do much worse at least, as there was almost zero activity coming from him in the first fight, and Fury only did slightly more.
He could try to adapt, and just throw caution in the wind if that didn't work for him and go destroyer style like he did in his earlier career. Also Fury in the 2nd bout would carry a lot more weight, as he couldn't possibly lose that in a legal way in the amount of time left.
There was a good reason for Wlad being the favorite for the rematch.

Lol wlad was old, younger wlad would have got that overrated fat oaf out in 10, wilder can’t box and he was able to KD Fury twice. That was 40yo wlad. Tell me one HW who was in his prime at that age and I will give fury credit , btw fury couldn’t even beat old wlad convincingly.
I really hope wilder will finish that overrated fatso once and for all.

There's good reason why Klitschko tried to fight Fury on an illegal spongy canvas. Even Pulev who was a semi-good mover was given the bouncy castle treatment.
Klitschko was lucky enough most of his opponents couldn't box n move as good as Fury , otherwise he would have taken multiple losses.

You might deserve a ban for this. I am a fan of both Fury and Klitschko, but Fury won 11 rounds on my scorecard. How is that NOT convincing.

I agree. Fury would've won the rematch in 2016 if he came in decent shape. And if Wlad comes back now, Fury will win too.

Fury would comfortably outbox any version of Wlad. A horrible style match up for him, and Fury’s just the all round superior boxer.

Fury won, but in the 12th Wlad started fighting a bit like his old self and made Fury look clueless. So, I think prime Wlad would beat him. Prime Klitschko vs prime Fury would have been a fight of a century.

Fury fought a stupid 12th round. I was there live and he was constantly trying to pull his pants up. Wlad landed a bit more in that round, but was going for broke and both men were tired. If Wlad fights like that from the start, he would be gassed after 5 rounds.

If both men fought in their prime, it would be a great fight but I still feel like Fury's style is just all wrong for him...

As Tony Soprano just pointed out , Wlads minor success in round 12 was due to Fury reaching around to pull up his trunks.
His feet were also skinned raw from wearing an old pair of boxing boots Manny gave to him as a souvenir.

Even with no feet and no hands , Wlad still could barely do anything to him. :qmeparto:

Fury with boots that fit , proper trunks and a bit more championship experience would clown even the best ever version of Wlad :sisi2:

Lol, according to this video Wlad was so poor in 2016 that even some karate guy was easily outboxing him.
This is bad for Fury and AJ, since old Wlad is their best win.
Wlad looks clumsy, old, and has no reflexes at all.
The karate kid makes Wlad looks like a fool in there.

It was an ugly boring fight , fury prob outlanded wlad by a few weak slaps in most rounds but if you consider that a convincing victory against shot 40yo you should watch soccer then. Below is the best description of wlad vs fury fight that I could find.
One Can’t Fight (Fury) And One Didn’t (Klitschko).

Well Wlad wanted the rematch and Fury did everything in his power to avoid it. That tells you all you need to know.

Yea is just a proof of how “great” this HW era is. According to many fury is just a bigger better version of Ali and that is mostly because he was able to stay out of range and make faces during his fight with a shot Wlad but that’s not all as he was also able to land a few slaps on wlad.
He also managed to outbox wilder who was never outboxed before and is def one of the most skilled pure boxers in the world hahaha.
Fury is so slick that wilder couldn’t knock him out , he just knocked him down twice.
So yea Fury is def one of the greatest , coz he beat shot wlad and drew with wilder.

He looks the same as he did vs Daryl Williamson back in 2004.

I guess now we now why WK keeps his sparring footage stored away under lock and key. Apparently Richard Towers made prime Wlad look just as clumsy as that kickboxer did.
There are also reports Whtye and Sherman were sent home for sparring too aggressively.
