Two noteworthy champions of our time...

Kovalev, a 3 time WBO LHW champion & former WBA & IBF champion.

Martinez, the former WBC WBO & lineal MW champion.

I know Kovalevs legacy is still ongoing but
who's the greater fighter overall right now? & why?

Martinez, just. If Kovalev had boxed Stevenson and won it would be him.

Martinez was a hype job who got exposed by Miguel Cotto. He had zero popularity, in Argentina, Spain or the US. His main claim to fame is going 1-1 with Paul Williams and beating Kelly Pavlik, a man who is universally considered a bum on this forum, except when Sergiosexuals argue he was an ATG to boost Sergio’s resume. He was outboxed by Martin Murray and got a gift decision against him, he was made to look like a fool by Chavez Jr., and he ducked GGG for good reason.

Krusher at least has a win over Andre Ward.

 Every one of those is a damn lie.

Btw, you mind giving the timeline when exactly Sergio ducked Golovkin?

I remember watching Sexy Sergio beat Cintron twice only to come away with a draw. He definitely deserved the decision in the first fight against P Willy as well IMO. I'm still a little angry about him getting shafted in those fight, guys. Still a little angry.

The sheer nonsense and stupidity you wrote is deserving of a temporary ban from the forum.

I was contemplating it earlier, he really is nauseatingly repellent **** poster that seemingly lacks any form of self-awareness.

Kovalev takes it by a hair over Sergio, but I do rank Martinez over Golovkin.

You're a pretty patient guy. Id have given him a short ban for that. I dont mind when people disagree with me from a place of knowledge heck me and you have had a few fun back and forth spars on some topics we disagreed on but it was respectful because we seem to respect the others knowledge and love for the sport but when someone is just coming from a place of just utter nonsense I just have to facepalm and take a deep breath.

If prime Sexy Sergio was around today he would rule 154 and 160 with an iron fist. He'd beat this way past prime version of GGG (not the prime version though) and don't get me started on what he'd do to Clenelo and Jermallo. And a fight between prime Sexy Sergio and BJS 2.0 would literally break the slickness meter. It would be hands down the slickest fight of all time.
