Yes but, I'd still like to see top fighters fight 4-5 times a year. This BS of fighting twice in 18 months is weak. Especially a great talent like Loma. Need to see him more than 2 times every year.
If you think I’ve ever been anything other than honest then you haven’t really been paying attention.
Beeing american wouldn’t help. Floyd was lucky to fight in divisions full of hispanics , mostly mexicans and so was pac.
Loma won three titles the fastest of all time. Beat Linares with a 270 degree labrum tear, comes back first fight from the operation to unify. Career stalling.....LMAO Hey, all but one of his fights has been a championship fight......who else fighting right now can say that.........I'll wait..
I'm surprised Floyd hasn't jumped all over this, what with Lomo having same injury as Whyte had,Davis should fight him now whilst he won't have the confidence to use that arm with any power.took Whyte four fights before he could use it.
Casual - someone who does not closely follow the sport and only tunes in to see well-known fighters fight. Non-casual - a true fight fan who understands the sport, regardless of hype. I said what I meant.
It might be... But a fight vs. Davis is not realistic at all. Look, Tank is evening avoiding Machado, who would expect him to fight Loma anytime soon? The biggest fight for Loma is... Lopez. And that's ridiculous on the one hand, but, on the other, shows that professional boxing is business, not just a sport.
Like I told you in other thread, Loma fight Crolla because he is the guy that WBA mandated him to fight. Loma didn't choose or opt to fight that guy. It was said earlier that both promotor and him had to choose who will they fight first between Commey or Crolla. However, since Commey has injured his hand and will be out for 6 months, his next fight become obvious. I think if you want to talk about boxing champion whose career is stalling, I think pointing out the finger to Loma would be wrong address. You should talk about Tank Davis and his (or his promotor's) choice of opponent and not sure he still can make it to 130 next year. He almost lost his title once again on the scale...
