Anthony Crolla is ranked first in WBA and become official challenger after defeating Daud Yordan in title eliminator. Though there is huge difference of class between him and Loma, but his official rank is legit. He is the opponent that WBA mandated Loma to fight next. If Loma does not fight him, he is going to be stripped of his title, as simple as that.

Loma is looking bigger. I think they've been working on putting on weight (in a smart and slow way, so not to lose speed). And now, just to forget about the 135 and jump back to 130? I'm not sure it's a good idea. Jumping between weight categories is almost never is.

He wants to unify at 135 (something all fans should want for all divisions) and if he wants to do that he has to hold into his belts. Crolla is a terrible mandatory but he is exactly that, a mandatory. If the organizations won't make an exception for a unification just take the mando and get it over with.

That said, Pacquiao just dominated AB. At 147, Pacquiao murders Loma.

At 135-140, he KOs him.

Just say that Pac's too big (even though he and the Salido Loma fight are the same size) and too dangerous for Loma. Their team thinks so.

 

The only fights I like at 135 is Mikey and Campbell.
130: Berchelt, Machado or Davis.

Loma should drop the belt.
