The right hand is a myth too and now Fury knows it for certain Not long now till AJ v Fury, I just cannot wait
Ortiz is rated so highly because he had a succesful amateur career, was undefeated before he fought Wilder, and then almost beat Wilder. His resume is admittedly weak but he was largely avoided as most Cubans are because they bring no money to the table. When it came to stepping up, he done so and done so very well. Have you ever watched Ortiz fight? When he's on form it's blatantly obvious he's an excellent fighter. Boxrec is deceiving. You'd argue those outcomes, but can't prove any of them. The fact is that it's just your alternative opinion and the majority of boxing fans and pundits would disagree with you. Are you right and everyone else wrong? Rankings are generally shocking chief. However, when they all have Wilder in the top three, as do the majority of fans and experts, they're more than likely correct. Again; are you more intelligent than the vast majority of the boxing world? If so, congratulations, you should be working in the game professionally.
Wilder has one of the worst resumes EVER among HW titlists, if not THE worst. The first five or so years of his career are a total joke, where he fought one utter stiff after another before "stepping up" to face such world beaters as ancient Fraudley Harrison and washed up Sergie Lyakhovich, and then a string of mediocre fringe contenders like Molina, Szplilka, et al, most of whom were carefully selected for their weak chins. The only "live bodies" he ever fought before Fury - who was probably about half of what he was before he became inactive, and still exposed him - were overrated old men Bermaine Stiverne and Grandpa Ortiz, who is probably close to 50. So, yes, Wilder's resume is FRAUDULENT, carefully constructed to create the impression he's a big "power puncher" and somehow he can actually take a punch. He isn't and he can't. He's a total FRAUD.
Chisora has lost every time he stepped above journeyman level. unless you consider 38 year old fringe contender Takam legit. even then, he got worked the whole fight, until Takam gassed.
AJ: Pay me $50 million and the fight is on. Haymon: Here is $50 million. *AJ goes quiet and lets Hearn damage control.
Yeah I saw this video. It's actually embarrassing that Wilder has fought two fighters in the top 15 of the WBC rankings.. Ortiz and Fury. Wilder has only BEATEN ONE fighter in the top 15 of EVERY MAJOR GOVERNING BODY.. Ortiz. And people come on here and give AJ and Whyte abuse about who they have fought and beaten? Yet, AJ has beaten 5 of the top 10 in the WBC rankings already, still not good enough for some though apparently. Come on, regardless of who you like, support or even hate, Wilder only beating ONE fighter in the top 15 of every major governing body is actually shocking considering the length of time he has been champion.
Haymon said **** all, they all said **** all. Wilder said here is 50 million and then Finkel refused to show or send a contract and cancelled planned meetings and said "further discussions would not be productive". Then they all went silent. It was a fake offer.
How has AJ shat his pants when he never saw a contract and they never want to even talk. If you was a fighter who truly wanted to fight then you would at least have face to face discussions to see if you could negotiate a fight properly. The fact they don't even want to communicate should tell you something in itself.
Wilder does technically have Dustin "the worm" Nichols on his resume however. Even though that was a corrupt fight. This will weigh heavily in his flavour in the history books.
Chisora best win is Takam and that is on par with a win over Jennings and I would say both Chisora and Ortiz second best win is M.Scott. Difference is Chisora has fought more top fighters such as klitschko, Haye, Fury and Whyte hence more loses than Ortiz who sticks to fringe fighter level.
