depends on how close a copy you want. people ask if there will ever be another duran, if you aint looking for identical, then you could say pac is another duran. so yes, there will probably be another paquiao. if youre asking if theres a chance of a flyweight one day winning the welter title, about as much as a lightweight winning the middleweight title.

None of his sons will ever get even close to how successful Pacquiao was.

No there will never be an exact clone of Tyson/Lewis/Pacman/Floyd. Never ever. There will be other ATG level boxers though so no reason to get too worried about it.

You think he can go up weightclasses and win titles like Pac did?

Can’t see it happening. Especially if Manny becomes President of the Phillipines, and then later on, Pope.

There won't be, just like there isn't another MJ or Mike Tyson or Shaq or Deion Sanders. There's so many other greats from various sports that you can't fit their unique and singular talents in one sentence. Pac came from nothing and made himself into an 8 div champ. And he's still beating those young and hungry lions at 40, lol. Tyson became the youngest heavy weight champ, won the biggest fortune ever by his mid 20s, and lost it all before even hitting his physical prime. Shaq was the single most dominant big man of the NBA in the modern era. Deion, what can one say about Deion? He can receive better than most other teams WR1, and the only player to play in both a World Series and the Super Bowl. Guys like this don't come around often and its really unfair to link that video of Pac's kid. If he wasn't already under a crap ton of pressure...

Sure. There was Armstrong in the 30s, Duran in the 70s, and Pacquiao in the '00s. Give the sport another 30-40 years and you'll see that kind of fighter again.

His son is fighting? That is always hard for sons to be even close to the dads. Part of the problem is they were raised with more money and they are not as disciplined, as their dad's were when they had practically nothing but the future. Average fighters can have great fighter songs, but great fighters usually do not have great fighter sons. Maybe he will be different. I hope so. All the best to him.

it never really happens. The greats usually come from not much and are motivated by that. Having money already in such a tough sport makes it hard to be motivated to be better or get better. What is the motivation to train hard and get hit all day and take punishment? They want to prove something to people who said they couldn't? That works more with smaller things but not in boxing. It is too difficult.
