Wilder has decent accuracy on relatively stationary targets which Fury isn't. If anyone's likely to improve, it's Fury. Wilder hasn't the balls to change anything at this stage of his career. He'll continue to use the same training methods and will rely solely on his one trump card, the right hand. He might try feinting initially and trying the jab more to set things up but, the more he hits thin air through the first third of the fight, the more panic stricken he'll become.

It'll be deja vu all over again with Wilder flapping away at shadows, I actually see a fitter, better conditioned Fury stopping Wilder next time. Prior to the first fight, I honestly thought Fury would get flattened as it was to soon into his comeback, hell even Wilder and his team were duped and it was very nearly a cherry pick gone wrong.
Fury obviously saw just how utterly ****ing useless a boxer Wilder is. No clowning or showboating the second time round and Fury wins without too much trouble.

Wilder can improve his power if he puts on some damn weight.

As far as accuracy? GO to the body Deonkey, to me it's an easy thing to implement in his training camp.
Too bad he has a low ring IQ.

So after 41 fights, how come Wilder hasn't learned to box better?? Setting traps, head movement etc, he needs to improve somehow!
Is DW plain stupid? Or maybe he's stubborn?? Or both?? Is it Jay Deas fault for just hanging off his coat tails and not forcing the issue??
Why has it got this bad?? Would any other HW champ of the last 25 years lose as many round to an unfit Fury as Wilder did??
To me it's obvious the lad can hit (when he connects) but he isn't anywhere nearly as skilled as the top 10 across the board imho
I'd respect him more if he learnt the art of the sport he says he's the greatest in the world at....
    Or at least tried

Where does DW go from here??

Do we really think Fury can improve that much for the 2nd fight tho ? I truly believe Deontay has figured him out and will hurt him badly in the rematch as i really can't see Fury being able to keep him off over the course of the fight - He will tire and that right hand will detonate on his chin once again and don't see Deontay jumping up and down on the ropes again but this time going in for the kill should Fury get up.

i got no love for aj, but i see nothing unnatural about his development. i dont know if there is any more concrete proof of him doping, but im not up to date on all his story. yes, aj has lots of room for improvement, but he has less overall weaknesses than all the other players at hw.

Weaker chin most definitely you’ll see that next time he gets a clout

Little man Povetkin wobbled that growth chin, so even feather fisted fury would do 96% more damage & wilder 98% more damage trust me Forbes magazine doesn’t predict p45 for nothing

to be honest, i havent really chewed on these match ups much. all three have so many holes that a case can be made for any one of them to end up on top. but from my limited analysis, aj is the best of the bunch. hopefully we wont have to wait too long to find out whos who. i will give a more detailed prediction of an outcome if they ever sign to fight, i will study some tape then.
i posted that before the wilder fight, i still dont think fury is better than i thought, but i did give him credit after the fight for performing better than i said he would.

No, he doesn't have that thudding power like Foreman had, for example. His power is based on his leverage and speed, he has that snappy explosive power in his shots. If he puts on weight, his power actually diminishes, since you become slower with added weight. Why do you think he keeps coming in lighter and lighter as his opposition is getting better? Because he knows that he can't box, so he's maximizing his power.

Wilder figured nothing out, the reason Fury got caught both times was because of his own stupidity.

He can definitely improve, he'd only been back 6 months from over 2.5 years of inactivity and was about 10lbs above his best weight. A leaner Fury won't tire as much in the later rounds which is why he got caught late twice. He was caught ducking both times but he only resorts to that when he can't maintain distance, a fitter Fury will move even more than the first fight, especially late on and give Wilder fewer opportunities to land.

As for Wilder figuring him out, the final knockdown came because one Fury got complacent and two he finally started throwing the right straight, something his trainer had been begging him to do from the middle rounds if not sooner. Breland himself has said Wilder refuses to listen to him, Wilder is a fighter who's gotten so used to his power bailing him out he's neglected other parts of his game and has a mindset focused only on getting the KO. If he's to do better 2nd time around he'll need to do a complete U-turn in regards to his philosophy on boxing and listen to his trainers. Maybe he can learn from his previous mistakes but that's a big ask, Fury just needs to repeat what he did before with a few adjustments while Wilder needs to basically overnight make up for a decade of neglecting his boxing skills and not relying solely on power.

As long as Wilder has that equalizer, I refuse to rule him out of any fight in history regardless of how far behind he is in the fight and he nearly pulled it off against Fury

If anything Fury will have to fight the perfect fight and quit the clowning around in the ring
