Assuming we are talking prime Bowe (Holy I), both are pretty evenly matched. Both are big, have a good jab, good over hand right, good uppercut.Bowe is the better infighter and has a better chin. Nevertheless,,I am gonna say Lennox by SD. But I cant rule out a late stoppage by Bowe because of Lennox chin.

No , its simple body language. Lewis is alarmed so repeats his words and fidgets with his ear piece.

Bowes thought process was clear , there was more substance to his communique because he was filled with confidence.

Pick em if we're talking prime for prime but I believe Lennox had the mental edge over the unstable and combustible Bowe. Another reason I'd pick LL is Bowe was easy to hit although in saying that Bowe had the size and skill to connect with LL's questionable chin and RB certainly had enough punch power to hurt Lennox.

I'll pick Lewis by decison or late stoppage

I thought this was very clear. Sting Like A Bean couldn't be farther off. Really strange, or maybe just trollish?

Bowe was too easy to hit. Lewis would have beaten him worse than Golota did. I think too much is made out of Bowe's performance against Holyfield. Bowe completely outweighed him and Holyfield fought stupid trying to outslug the bigger guy. I think Holyfield could have won all three fights if he used his jab more and threw combinations in and out.

Other than Holyfield, Bowe never looked impressive against anyone else.

I got as far as" Kirk couldn't beat Ruiz :LOL Kirk could not beat the tag team od Ruiz & Joe Cortez. Kirk kicked Ruiz ass nut Ruiz acadamy award acting & Cortez corruption made it a DQ & not a legiutimate KO

Actually Lewis stayed totally calm and when Bowe said "I owe you one" Lennox just smiled and said "ok". That unnerved Bowe.

Remember Bowe had just fought 12 rounds and his adrenaline was flowing. Lewis was in a suit calling the fight.

I followed Bowe as he went from prospect to contender. Eddie Futch did a terrific job with him.

He look good knocking out a sharp Bert Cooper inside 2 rounds. He beat Biggs. I think he KOd Seldon in 1 round on PPV. (I bought that fight) didnt know Seldon had fine china chin.

Bowe wasn't hard to hit and would wear down pretty quickly from Lewis' right hand bombs. It would have been a great match up tho.

That confrontation meant nothing and everyone playing amateur psychologist are just seeing what they want to see in my view.

Lewis's resume p!sses all over Bowes, he fought and defeated more solid punchers than anyone (possibly aside from Ali) in heavyweight history whereas Bowe barely faced one, of their common opponents Lewis beat them easier as a rule and a 29 y/o Bowe was punched into retirement by a flake that LL obliterated.

This mythical Bowe that beat a guy who he outweighed by 30 pounds (and who fought dumb) gets more overhyped by the day and I'd back LL to beat him at anytime. Lewis only ever lost when he was sloppy, unfocused and complacent. You think he'd be any of these against a guy he despised as much as Bowe? Bowe has a (slim) chance pre-Steward but even then that Lewis could be devastating (see Razor Ruddock) but after Steward molded him into what he became? No chance for Bowe.

I can't argue with any of that. It would have been a classic matchup though. Bowe was fighting well and they were evenly matched. Both in their prime.

That mythical Bowe beat Holyfield a lot easier and a lot more impressively than Lewis did. Prime undefeated and best ever version of Holyfield.

Lewis fought a battleworn semi-shot Holy and arguably lost the rematch. Both fights were stinkers cos Lewis was reluctant to get involved with a faded and powerless Holyfield.

The only reason Holyfield ever managed to beat Bowe was because of an extraordinary circumstance. Without fanman crashing into Bowe's pregnant wife , its probable he would have maintained his focus to close the gap in the later rounds.

Whats Lewis excuse for regressing in the rematch? He doesn't have any. Holy was the one who improved , not Lewis.

As much as he improved , he still looked nowhere as impressive as he did in the second Bowe fight. That was an image of a near perfect fighting machine and he still only beat a distracted Bowe by the skin of his teeth.

At the time , that mythical Bowe was a more finely tuned and complete boxer that Lewis was. Lewis fell in with his punches and had a sloppy jab.
Nobody would be saying how easy to hit Bowe was if he had fought the creampuffs Lewis did instead of having 3 fights with of of the greatest of all time.

If Bruno can outbox Lewis for 5-6 rounds , you can bet your ass Bowe can easily manage 10. Bowe , unlike Bruno has endless stamina and was extremely had to stop.

The reality of the situation was Lewis wasn't even good enough to get a fight with Bowe , as right before they agreed to fight , he was left in a crumpled heap by the Atomic Bull.
