Watched Kid Galahad's interview with MJP this morning, fair to say he's pretty confident on getting the win against Josh Warrington. Warrington has been in with the better opposition in his last few fights in Selby and Frampton but what surprised me was the combined record of Galahad's last 8 opponents who have lost more than they have won, i fancied warrington in this but even more so now. KG last 8 opponents - combined record 119 wins / 122 losses / 8 draws JW last opponents - combined record 214 wins / 20 losses / 7 draws
It has never progressed...he was about to break out when scandal clobbered him. This is almost certainly too big a step up in one go. There probably isn’t much difference in talent and abilities between the two, but josh too big too experienced etc..josh should win handily....
Good post, it’s always interesting to see this type of statistic. I think Warrington will win but I believe Awad will make it more competitive than Frampton and Selby did.
I think Warrington wins fairly easy UD But I do see some good exchanges coming in this match I'm looking forward to it as its a dece t clash of styles
His record is really quite empty. I don't think he's a bad fighter at all but I've never quite understood the little hype that there is
I think it will be a really close f8ght which could go either way. I agree alot of Galahads opponents have not been good enough but i am sure that will will be down to finances or a Lack of them. He is now with Hearn but has never recieved big backing doesnt sell tickets so their will be a Lack of money to get good opponents in.
That a been the rumours for some time now. And that's come to me from a friend who has a relative who's pro and used to train at ingles and knows kid very well. Mate over the years I've seen some really top class birds shag absolutely anything and I mean anything. Maybe mvp is just another one of those birds.
Mr Awad's best victory actually came against UKAD when he managed to reduce his ban from 2 years to 18 months. Impressive stuff.
