What is Briggs really doing in his comeback? I mean he has "lets go champ" saying for a few years now but he is not fighting. What is the point?
He is a big strong guy as he would be at 60, but I don't know if that means he would compete with too many younger guys after a few rounds.
How is it a nice gesture to invite a 47 year old man to get into the ring and be punched repeatedly in the face. Not really looking out for his health are you? How about you buy him dinner, or give him a free ticket... these are nice gestures. Boxing is a dangerous sport, and Briggs has taken a lot of damage over the past decade... more than he needed too for an old man. Do we want another Stevenson situation? Because that will happen. Briggs is highly susceptible at this age.
