How can Dan say that Maidana lost a close decision to DEVIN Alexander when he was basically shut out? What a joke.
F me if those photos are real of him in that vest with his gut spilling out then he got his work cut out...i love Maidana one of my fav fighters...will be interesting to see how much left he got in the tank.
If he comes back and keeps it relatively low level this could be good for him. Get back in decent shape to have more years with his family, scratch the boxing itch, and make some side cash (hopefully he didn't burn througj what he had). Anything higher than that at his age and physical shape should be out of the question (at least short term)
I don't see him contending at either 147 or 154. He'll probably take a winnable tune up and get demolished by the younger, stronger, WW/JrMWs.
look it guys. i really think maidana came back to fight manny . lol isnt it obvious? now can he lose all that weight is the question??? i would bet my house thats why maidana came back.. to fight manny, doesn't it make sense. he wants to cash the bleep out again. manny accepts all challenges . if maidana get down to 154 pacman is all about it. but maidana would have to take at least one fight. and pacman is no spring chicken he might be all set here soon.
